Kurstin, Emily, Danielle and I sat there, dumbfounded. We all thought he was just going out for a drive, just a simple drive.
Laurel couldn't hold back the tears any longer. A couple fell to the ground, but that's all anyone saw because she turned into John for another hug.
"Come on Honey." John said, pulling Laurel out the door
"Lexi, we have to deal with this Zombie." Kurstin whispered in my ear
"I know." That's the only way I knew how to respond at that moment. I'm shocked really. It all happened so fast.
First we got locked in the house by another ghost, then a Zombie tore up Chad, and now a car accident resulting in Chad's death! Why did I ever agree to this sleepover?
After John and Laurel shut the door, the 4 of us started talking about the Zombie problem.
"Why don't we just sleep on it. I'm sure John and Laurel will come home in the morning to help." Emily reasoned
"They wouldn't just leave us here alone for days right?" Danielle asked Kurstin
"I don't think so," Kurstin said, "but they're unpredictable so I don't know what they're going to do."
"Well that helps." I mutter under my breath
"Hey! I heard that!" Kurstin whined. Her face and neck soon had that red hue back
"Ha! REDNECK!" Danielle laughed uncontrollably
After some harmless fighting and maybe a little physical contact, the 4 of us passed out on the couch and chairs.

I peeled my eyes open and blinked away the fuzzy dots that took over my vision. It was pitch black in the house and when I clicked on my phone, it read 2 A.M.
There was a faint sound of footsteps that echoed through the house, but I'm guessing it's source was the Zombie.
I looked back over at the Basement door and noticed a few dents on it. The zombie must be trying to free itself. I guess the smell of our brains is too overwhelming for the thing.
I scanned the room, just incase. You know, like when you get nervous and you just scan your entire surroundings. It's just an instinct.
My eyes landed on the front door which was beautifully hand crafted. At least it looked like it was. The door on the outside was pounding against the wooden door. The wind must be really strong.
Just as I was about to get up and fix the slamming, the outside door froze in mid air. It looked like someone was holding it open. The main door's handle turned a bit and the door was pushed open.
I pushed myself closer to Kurstin's body as the door was pushed more. I thought John locked it!
When the door was pushed open all the way, I could only see hands gripping the side of the door. It seemed everything else was invisible except the hands.
The hand was all I saw.
OH MY GOD! This is where the whole title came in! I know you guys were waiting for this. I was too.
This chapter was really scary to write. I was so scared while writing this just like when I had to write about the tape and the TV in the 1st part, The 3rd Floor. It's chapter 6 if you want to read it yourself for the whole chapter, but I'll give you just the VCR part.
Here's the part:
I decided to explore some more.
Therefore, I walked in front of Emily and Kurstin into a hallway. The lights turned on and a breeze blew a door open. Kurstin and Emily jumped while I walked in. There was a bathroom to my left and a closet to my right. I walked further in to find 2 beds pushed together and a small, old-school tv. There was a VCR on the counter the tv was sitting on, so I grabbed it and put it into the player.
The tv flicked on the a woman and a man pop on the screen.
"If your watching this, it must be the future. Me and my husband were staying in this hotel on the 3rd floor for a weekend get away."
The woman paused for a second and all 3 of us looked at each other. Then we looked back at the screen.
"After we got back from the pool, we started hearing noises. We decided to make a video for the future so that other people could see if something happened to us."
The man just sat there with almost the same blank expression as Emily had.
Creepy.
Then something flashed behind them. The man was swung out of the chair he was sitting on. The force pushed him through a wall. The woman sat in utter silence with tears in her eyes. After a few seconds, she was flung the same way.
They lay in the wall together. Dead.
Then, the tv flickered off and the VCR popped out of the player.
T3F Fact #3 - I actually woke up once and saw a hand in my doorway.
T3F Fact #4 - Me and Kurstin were at AT&T waiting to get my iPhone turned on and the person in line in front of us was named Laurel. We made fun of her name the whole time so now I call her Laurel.
