Chapter 21

Lexi's POV

"No dip Sherlock! I think we figured that out by now!" Emily said, really loudly

"Well you didn't have to be so rude about it! Sometimes I think you purposely make your voice that loud just to be annoying." Kurstin fought back

"At least I don't swing my fists around like a crazy, frazzled monkey." Emily responded, sounding quite amused with herself

I sat back and let them claw each other's eyes out with their words. It was actually quite entertaining until it actually became physical.

"Ladies, ladies. You are acting like an old married couple." I finally said, separating the two monsters

"Whatever." They both said at the same time

Before I knew it, Emily and Kurstin vanished. IN MID AIR I MIGHT ADD! I walked around the room a little, just to see if they were some how messing with me. I don't think they were. That was the first time I noticed a picture of a young girl and a dog hung on the wall. The little pup looked old and worn, but the girl looked neat and well dressed.

I heard a thumping noise coming from behind me, at that moment, and turned around. There before me was the same ghostly figure, a ghost that look like Danielle, and Emily and Kurstin.

Kurstin was being dangled by her shirt collar in Danielle's hands and Emily was thrown over the other ghost's shoulder, both unconscious.

I turned back around to see the picture and noticed the similarities between the girl in the picture and the ghost. As I was observing the strange picture, a picture of Danielle appeared beside it. I was dumbfounded. Confused. You could even say confuzzled.

"Danielle, I thought you were nice, kindhearted, innocent even. I didn't think you would do this to your own friends." I said to her, "I never thought the day would come when you would let me down. Kurstin, Emily and I are your friends, not your enemies.

And I think I just broke through that nasty shell she was trapped in.

Her eyes welled up and a single tear slid down her cheek.

"I'm sorry."

What an awesome chapter don't you think?!? I tried writing a longer one just so that you guys wouldn't hate me for writing short ones.

And just letting you guys know, I'm going to be having a contest. I want to see which one of you amazing people can come up with an amazing next chapter for me. It doesn't have to be the very next chapter, it can be anything you would want to happen next.

Starting on Today, you will have till October 31 to send me your story. I will except anything as long it is not inappropriate and there are no swear words. I'm sorry, but these are my only rules.

The winner of this contest will get a shoutout in my future chapters and will get to have their chapter as an actual chapter in my book.
