~Chapter 5~ STRANGER SAID
*Danielle's POV*
"The others? Um, they are kind of still on the 3rd floor. They tried calling the elevator, but it was stuck, you know." I said
"Well, we have to get up there!" She said
Me, Kurstin's mom, and my mom, who was standing behind Kurstin's mom, ran up to the elevator. They tried pushing the button over and over, but the elevator stayed closed.
Next, the moms tried just straight up banging on the thing. At least that got us closer than when we pressed the button.
*Lexi's POV*
We've been sitting on the couch near the elevator for what seemed like forever. Then, we heard a banging sound.
I jumped into Kurstin's arms before Emily had the chance.
Emily decided to bang back. Soon after, we heard Danielle's mom yelling to us. Emily heard everything. Me and Kurstin just heard mumbling.
"We're ok, but we are scared!" Emily yelled
I thought my ears were going to die. She yelled so loud that china could probably hear her. We live in California, so that's pretty far.
"We will find a way up there!" Kurstin's mom said. I could barely make the words out, but Kurstin kind of helped me.
After that, all sounds stopped and everything went quiet. A faint taping sound was the only thing heard. Me and Kurstin looked at each other because she heard it too.
Emily headed toward the corner followed by me and Kurstin. We saw a faint person walking in the distance.
"W-what's that?" I said
"I-I have no idea." Kurstin said
Emily was to frightened to speak. Her eyes weren't their natural hazel color. They were black. She held a dead expression on her face.
Me and Kurstin were just staring back and forth from each other, to Emily, to the creepy thing coming towards us.
Nobody ran. Nobody moved.
We just stared at the faint human in the distance.
Ok. Now I'm more worried about Emily. She's just staring with black eyes.
Now the human thing is in seeing distance.
"Um, hello?" Kurstin said
*Danielle's POV*
So we know they're up there. Now we need a plan as to how we're going to get them down.
I hope they're ok.
*Lexi's POV*
"Ahhh!" Me and Kurstin started screaming as the thing came closer.
"Wait, it's just a regular person." Kurstin said
"I'm here to warn you." A little girl's voice said
"About what?" Emily said
Yay! Emily snapped out of her coma thingy. Thank god she is ok!
"You have to get off of this floor." She said
"But the elevator won't come back up." I said
"It's too late." The girl said and then vanished
"Yes. It's too late." Said another strange voice
"Ok. Very funny. Who is it this time?" Emily said
"This isn't a game Emily." The Stranger said
