WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?

Lexi's POV

I just sat there, staring at the figure in front of me. It was Danielle just lying on the floor. She was breathing, her chest moving up and down with each inhale and exhale.

"Danielle!" I yelled moving to her side. "Emily get your butt over here!"

Emily soon turned the corner, she was now at her side too.

"How did she get there?" Emily said almost barely audible

"I don't know." I quickly replied

My and Emily just stared at Danielle for what seemed like forever. We occasionally glanced at each other, but our gaze usually stayed on Danielle. We didn't want to be looking away if she sat up.

Our plan worked out perfectly.

It took about an hour, but Danielle finally sat up. She looked at us with great confusion in her eyes.

"H-How. W-What. W-When did I get here?" Danielle stuttered

"We have absolutely no idea." I said looking at her

She attempted to stand up, but she quickly sat back down. She gripped her forehead indicating her head hurt. Whoever or whatever brought her here didn't care whether she got brain damage or not.

"I was just lying in bed, eyes closed listening to Better Than Revenge, you know my favorite song ever. Then, I was lifted out of bed, brought to this tree house, and was dropped on the floor here. Everything went black after a couple of minutes." Danielle said slowly

"Who brought you here?" Emily asked slightly intrigued

"I don't quite know, but all I say was black hair that flowed down its back. Considering that, I think it was a girl. I think she was wearing a dress too."

That doesn't really help, Danielle.

"She also looked almost transparent. I could sort of see through her, but at the same time, I couldn't." She said

"Are you telling me you saw a ghost?" I said wanting more answers

"Considering what we witnessed on the 3rd floor, yes Lexi, I'm telling you I saw a ghost." Danielle said through gritted teeth

Ok Danielle. No need to get all sassy on me now.

"I think we should all go home. I'm sick of this place." Emily said with a crooked smile

"Agreed." Danielle chimed in

I got up and started to help Danielle up. Emily walked to the door. She wiggled the doorknob which didn't want to turn.

"Um guys, I think we have a problem!"

OMG Danielle just got pulled into this! The girls will be reunited soon, all we need is Kurstin! Just you wait. This book is about to take a turn for the worst.
