Lexi's POV
No way this could be happening again. Chad turned now so he was facing us. I'm guessing he's never known his house was haunted either. It's probably because he spends most of his free time up in his room, eyes closed and head phones on his ears.
At that moment, the door was locked from the outside in and each blind on each window was flung down. you could hear the snip snap of each individual lock on every window in the house. That's when I realized that this is the 3rd time this summer that we've been locked in somewhere.
The lights we had on in the house flickered on and off for a couple seconds and then all went black. I tried looking around to see if anyone was near me, but considering the outside was now just as dark as inside, I couldn't see a thing.
Just as I was about to sprint to the nearest bathroom, Someone wrapped their arms around my waist and put one around my mouth. I viciously tried to escape their grasp, but after countless failed attempts, I let them win.

Kurstin lit a candle and it soon illuminated all of our faces. I figured out that Chad was the one that pulled me downstairs when the candle was lit because he was kind of still holding on to me for dear life.
"Kurstin, how did you not know your house was haunted?" Emily blurted out which made Kurstin jump a bit. We hadn't really talked through this whole encounter except when Danielle pointed out the ghost.
"I don't really know. I guess listening to music constantly all these years actually had an impact." She replied
"Wow, I guess we are related." Chad said, loosening his grip on my shoulders. I pulled away from his arms and put myself next to Danielle to comfort her. She seemed pretty shook up.
He looked over at me holding Danielle and gave me a fake pout.
"I've been replaced." he said also faking a sob
"Ugh, men." I said in Danielle's ear. She let out a slight giggle, but her sad expression she held before soon replaced the smile
"My plan worked," a mysterious voice boomed, "I got all of you together in one place. That'll make my job a whole lot quicker."
