Chapter 18
JUST ANOTHER CONVENIENTLY SAD CHAPTER
Emily's POV
My eyes quickly darted across the room. All I could see was the 2 bodies that lay beside me on the hard, oak floor.
"We must've fallen asleep last night." I mumbled as I lifted myself up on one elbow.
As soon as I realized there wasn't 3 bodies on the floor, I got up and shook the bodies that were there.
"Kurstin, Lexi, WHERE'S DANIELLE?" I said completely in panic mode
"D-Danielle?" Kurstin stuttered, looking around the room for any movement or sound
We all quickly skimmed the entire room for Danielle, but sadly, we had no luck. Lexi came up with the idea to check the other rooms in this creepy tree house.
We turned the corner and slowly trudged down the hallway, prepared for anyone or anything that would love to throw itself at us.
"D-Danielle?" Kurstin said again, her voice filled with nervousness
"Kurstin? hel--" Danielle sentence was cut short, leaving the 3 of us to wonder what was happening where she was.
We quickly followed the voice we wish we had, which lead us to a closed door, covered in spiderwebs.
Me and Kurstin were to scared to open it, so Lexi reached her arm out and turned the knob. Danielle was lying on a old hospital bed-look alike. she was lying on her back with a knife pierced through the right side of her upper back. Im guessing she died instantly because the knife was right where her heart is.
"D-Dani--" Kurstin was cut short because of me and Lexi's whimpers and sobs.
Kurstin was soon joining us.
"The most innocent die." it was the stupid voice again.
I'm not stopping until this demon is killed and Danielle's death is honored.
