This turned out to be harder than we thought.
Kurstin, Danielle, Don, Brad, and I found ourselves slowly approaching the doors to the cafeteria. I could tell Danielle was shaking from behind me.
Oh god, I hate Emily so much right now! Why did she lead us on? Why did she pretend? A million questions swirled in my head, making me feel slightly dizzy. Wait, did I mention that I hate Emily?
Well, I do.
Brad slowly opened the door and peered inside. He motioned for us to follow him and soon, we were all in the cafeteria.
Everything felt normal, seemed normal, looked normal. That is, until the lights dimmed and what I'm guessing was Emily, approached our group.
"You know, you were the one I least expected to go insane." I took one step forward
Emily wasn't holding a gun. She wasn't holding an ax. She was holding a long, rolled up piece of very expensive looking paper.
"Well, Lexi, I guess my plan worked." she smiled the most devilish smile I have ever seen on anyone.
"I could've seen Kurstin do this, but not you."
"Hey!" Kurstin whined. I swear, she nearly stabbed me with that pencil she's holding.
"It's was a joke, Kurstin. Get over it!"
"Hey, hey, hey!" Danielle yelled over us, her voice heard in China. "We came here to stop an insane Emily not two fighting idiots!"
Well, thanks for ruining our plan Miss. Danielle.
"Oops, Sorry." Danielle realized her mistake and smiled shyly at her shoes
Emily obviously took this to her advantage. She started towards me, paper in hand. When she reached me, Emily slowly placed the rolled up paper in my hands and backed up.
I was just about to look an my real friends when out of the corner of my eye, I noticed people approaching us. Not just any people. They were big people. Wait, scratch that. They were huge people.
"Ladied, gentlemen, My Goons." Emily cooed while she clung to one of the two men's arms. Just then, a third came out from behind them. Make that 2 huge people and one stick.
The first was a little boyish looking, but he was indeed intimidating. His electric blue eyes stared into your soul. The second, or the one Emily clung to, was the most intimidating of the three. His muscles bulged out of his shirt and he carried a dark, black pistol. His slick, dark brown hair had way to much hair gel in it, but that didn't make him any less scary. The final goon, I think, wasn't supposed to be intimidating. I think he was just there to wait on Emily and the other two. He had no muscle build at all, but his bright green eyes did sparkle.
"Henry, fetch me some red wine." Emily frowned and the scrawny goon ran out the door. Well, I guess the stick's name is Henry.
I didn't expect Emily to have goons or to be drinking red wine when I agreed to venture down to the cafeteria.
What has this universe come to?
