Caleb's Pov.
Six hours earlier...
I can't believe she actually left to go and hang out with that asshole named Kyle. She promised me that she would pick me and not Kyle but she, obviously, broke that promise when she canceled our plans that we made a week ago to go and hang out with Kyle, again. She's unbelievable!
She just ran out the front door a few minutes ago. And I'm still starring at the front door, hoping that Hanna would run back in here and tell me I'm sorry and kiss me. But I've been standing here for more than five minutes and I don't hear her footsteps from the hallway.
I sigh, disappointed in her. I walk to the bathroom and close the bathroom door. I brush my teeth and after that, I went and turned on the shower. I discarded my clothes and went in the shower and under the burning hot water. I washed my hair with Hanna's fruit scented shampoo, massaging my head. After I rinsed out the shampoo from my hair, I got the bar of soap that I left here for me and started to rub the bar all over my body, cleaning it. I rinsed my body off when I was done and turned the shower off, getting out and wrapping my lower half with the towel. I opened the door to the bathroom and all the steam was released from the bathroom.
I entered the bedroom and let the extra water on my body drip off my body, not caring that I'm getting the carpet wet. I grabbed my briefs from the dresser and unwrapped my towel from my waist, dropping it to the floor. I pulled my briefs on and grabbed my blue shirt that was laid on top of the vanity, pulling it over my head and on to my torso. Then, I grabbed my black and white basketball shorts from the desk chair and put it on.
I leave a few pair of outfits at Hanna's so I can just get ready here instead of going home.
I picked up my towel from the floor and throw it in the hamper. Exiting the room, I grab my black Nikes and put it on in the living room. I grab my keys and my phone and exit the apartment, locking it up.
Since Hanna wants to go and have fun, I'll go and have fun too. But instead of going and hanging out with someone who likes me more than a friend, I'll go and hang out with one of the boys.
So, as I walk to my car, I dial Toby's phone.
On the third ring, I hear Toby's voice.
"Hello?" Toby questions.
"Hey Toby. Mind if I come over for a bit, to hang out?" I ask.
"Yeah. That's fine. I'm on my way home from the grocery store so I'll meet you at my house." Toby tells me.
"Alright. I'm on my way." I hang up after that and I open my car door and got in, shutting it behind me.
I start the engine and turn on the AC because it's starting to become warm here in San Francisco. I start to drive out of the parking garage as I turn on my radio.
About ten minutes later, I arrive at Toby's house, parking in the drive way. I get out of my car and walk up to the front door, ringing the doorbell. A few seconds later, Spencer is opening the front door.
"Hi Caleb?" Spencer questions herself, sounding very confused.
"Hi Spencer." I reply back to her and she opens the door wider, indicating for me to enter.
"Is everything alright?" Spencer asks, still very confused. She closes the door shut after I walk in and she leads me to the living room.
"Yup. Everything is just fine." I reply back to Spencer, lying.
"Well, that's good, I suppose. Not to sound rude or anything but why are you here?" Spencer finally asks the question that she's been wanting to know ever since I got here.
