"How much farther?" Stealth asked over the roar of the wind in her ears.

"Not much! I can see its tail poking through the clouds right over there!" Kaos said, reaching over Stealth, pointing to the fog-colored clouds covering the normally blue sky to the right of Spyro.

Spyro smirked, "Hold on guys."

"What!?" Kaos screeched.

Without warning, the wind was knocked out of Kaos' lungs as Spyro shot off through the sky like a rocket. His wings flapping wildly at an alarming speed. Kaos grabbed onto Stealth frantically, whose arms were wrapped around Spyro's neck. Stealth looked back at him, glaring daggers at the Dark Portal Master, but let him hold on just so they wouldn't lose the one person who might be able to tell them where the dragon was.

Spyro felt his paws brush along something cold, lifeless and metal. He looked back at Kaos, who shakily nodded. Spyro sighed, hoping Kaos wasn't tricking him, and placed his paws down flat on the smooth surface. Immediately, the air around Spyro began to ripple and change, the skeletal, cyborg dragon appearing around them. Spyro knew it was the dragon, even though all around them looks like the deck of a very large ship. The way it moved through the sky wasn't as choppy as a normal freight ship. Or any ship for that matter. Stealth shook Kaos off of her and slid down, off of Spyro's back, and onto the metallic ground with a muffled clang. All the while clutching her dragon fang daggers in her hands tightly. Kaos jumped off after her, landing in a ninja-like pose.

"Oops! Heh heh..." Kaos laughed sheepishly, straightening himself up as Stealth shot him a blood-freezing glare.

Spyro gazed around, astonished at the actual size of the beast. While glancing around, pieces of a puzzle snapped together within his mind.

"Shoria!" He cried out.

"What!?" Both Kaos and Stealth replied, before giving each other looks of pure hatred.

"Shoria! She's been taken captive! I remember hearing Flynn's voice before we took off, that must have been what he was trying to tell us!" Spyro explained the best he could. "Quick! Stealth, you take the left. I'll take the middle. And, Kaos, you'll take the right. We need to find her, NOW!"

Stealth nodded, still slightly skeptical, but ran off clumsily anyway. Kaos, on the other hand, stayed stone still. Spyro eyed him irritably.

"Remember what we said, Kaos?"

Kaos perked up, "Oh, right!"

On that note, Kaos ran off to search before Spyro could pick out another reason to lock him back up in the Villain Vault.

Kaos stood on the edge of a steep staircase, leading down to the lower levels. Kaos could hear something like ice being scraped across metal flooring, then perfect silence. Finally, he thought it was safe to venture down. Kaos darted down the stairs and emerged into a bland, unpolished metal room. In the corner, was what looked like and elderly mabu caked in a thick layer of ice. A look of shear panic and horror plastered across his frozen features. But, Kaos barely payed any attention to that at all. What really caught his eye was in the center of the room.

"...Shoria." He breathed, then his voice picked up, "SHORIA!" He cried, staring at the Skylander trainee, chained to a chair messily and frozen in place. Her eyes closed and head drooping to the side.

Shoria couldn't open her eyes. Her head throbbed like someone had run it over with the Shark Tank. Her ears ringed, but within the mess of noise, he heard someone's voice. It was faint and muffled, but she knew that voice. Suddenly, images flashed within her mind, an audio track playing along with them.
