Metaltaur sat silently in the room for several minutes, thinking to itself. Mulling over all that had just happened. Trying to make sense of it. Trying to weed out the truths from the lies. At the moment, as far as Metaltaur could tell, everything Shade had said was to be true. Though, Metaltaur still couldn't believe it. He refused to believe it.

"We could not have fallen. We are better than this." Metaltaur mumbled to itself. Head in its front paws.

"Of course you are." A sweet, simpering voice said. It seemed to reverberate all around Metaltaur. "You people should be ruling all of Skylands... with you as their leader, I might add."

Metaltaur turned his head, peering over its shoulder; to see a hooded, feminine figure floating out of the ground. Prothras. All Metaltaur did was stare. The confused look back on its face.

"Who are you?" Metaltaur growled, the confused look turning into one of unwelcoming.

"Someone who wants to make you better." Prothras said sweetly. She smiled, but it was a cold and sinister smile. "You are much higher than those Skylanders. You should be ruling over them with an iron fist, not letting them boss you around."

"...but my fists are bronze." Metaltaur stated. The look of confusion back on his face where it belonged.

This statement startled Prothras. Catching her off guard. "What?... you know what I mean." She muttered under her breath, rolling her eyes in exasperation.

Prothras walked uncomfortably over to Metaltaur, who had turned around fully now, and placed her hand on its chest. Forcing the smile back onto her face. Metaltaur glanced down at her hand, then up at Prothras herself.

"I can help you. Make you more powerful. What do you say, bronze boy?"

Metaltaur frowned at the figure. He did like what she was saying... but he didn't like her. She seemed like one to deactivate it as soon as it had turned its back.

"What does helping me benefit you?"

"Me? Well... I need you to pledge your service to me. When I need you, you can help me. You could say that you are a dog, and I am the owner; but I'd like to think that our relationship is much better than that."

"But... I am not even a dog. I am a bull." Metaltaur growled.

"What. Ever." Prothras sighed exasperatedly. The sweet tone to her voice gone. She was beginning to get irritated with this husk of walking metal. "So, do we have a deal?"

Prothras took her hand off of Metaltaur's chest and held it out to shake. Metaltaur looked back at her with a cold stare. But... this was what he wanted. The Arkeyan Empire to be brought back to its former glory. For it to flourish and thrive. For the Skylanders to be crushed. To show their true power. They were better than this. Metaltaur closed his eyes. Like Shade had said, it was his choice to make. It was up to him. Metaltaur opened his glowing yellow eyes again and began to put his paw out to shake; but before his paw could reach her long, slender fingers, Prothras' other hand plunged into his chest. A smile of pure insanity on her face. Metaltaur groaned and wheezed as he struggled in pain. With a cruel glint in her eyes, Prothras yanked out a glowing blue sphere from Metaltaur's chest. Somehow, Metaltaur was still able to move. His eyes fixated on the sphere Prothras held in her hand. Just for a bit of fun, Prothras dug her long, black painted nails into the glowing sphere and watched Metaltaur convulse in pure agony. She dug them in deeper. The robots were her favorites. So much fun to play with. Metaltaur scrunched its eyes closed. It had never experienced so much pain. It had never even believed this much pain was possible.

"Don't worry." Prothras simpered in Metaltaur's ear. Her voice quiet. "It'll all be over soon."

With that, Prothras carved her name into the sphere with her other hand and shoved it back into the Arkeyan Century's metal chest. Metaltaur began to shake for a few moments, before becoming completely still. Its eyes flickering out. Its head drooping to the side. Prothras stepped back. Waiting for what would happen next. A few seconds of silence passed. Suddenly, Metaltaur raised its head. Its eyes flashing back on. Prothras clapped her hands in joy. The eyes, usually a burning yellow color, were now a piercing purple.
