Confused about what had just occurred, and slightly taken aback by Kyrel's tone and choice of words; Kaos just stuck his tongue out as he watched Kyrel go. Trudge off in no hurry whatsoever. Once he had gone, Kaos looked back to his paper, read where Spyro's class was being held, and walked off in a huff. Stuffing the paper back into its rightful spot in his pocket. The Dark Portal Master soon arrived to the training field where Spyro's class was being hosted. Spyro's class was like Redalox's. Though, instead of just listening to the teacher ramble on about fighting techniques, you would learn about them for about a minute or two, then try them out on the other students. Kaos scanned the grounds. He saw a lot of trainees, new and returning, but none he really recognized. Kaos groaned, rolling his eyes. This was going to be torture. Out of the corner of his eye, Spyro noticed Kaos standing off to the side. The purple dragon quickly wrapped up the conversation he was in with one of the other trainees and turned to face his class.

"Let's begin class now, shall we? Class! Circle formation!" Spyro announced.

The class fell in around Spyro, each looking eager and excited for whatever Spyro had planned for class this time around. Kaos - on the other hand - seemed less than enthused about this arrangement.

"Now," Spyro smiled, looking over at Kaos, "let's just begin with a simple introduction from our new student. May you tell us a bit about yourself, Kaos?"

The class groaned in unison. Kaos just glared at Spyro.

"Do I REALLY need to introduce myself when everyone here clearly knows of my existence?" Kaos glowered.

"Fine, fine. Just, everyone be nice to Kaos, please?" Spyro said in a slightly exasperated tone.

"Yes, teacher." The class said all together, a few glancing over at Kaos with looks of pure hatred.

Kaos shrunk back. For once in his life, he wanted to be smaller than he actually was. Luckily, the other trainee's attention was directed back to Spyro soon enough, as he began talking about today's lesson.

"Now, movesets. The base of every good Skylander's career..."

Spyro continued talking, but by now, Kaos had blocked it out. He didn't do it intentionally, it was just habit that had been drilled into his mind over the years. When Dragonfly starts talking, block it out. In about half an hour, the class began testing out what Spyro had told them on each other. Of course, Kaos was left all to himself. So he took this time to start wailing on a nearby tree. It helped take out his anger and calm him down, so, why not? He also got to destroy a tree for no apparent reason. A win win situation in Kaos' books. Finally, Spyro announced it was time to pack up and head out. Kaos sighed. People had been staring at him while he had been attempting to destroy the bark covered perpetrator, but that had only filled him with even more rage. Too bad for the tree.

The bell sounded and Kaos started walking back to the Academy. As he was making his way back, Kyrel walked passed him. Smirking. Time seemed to slow down as the two passed each other. Kaos stared at the dark whisp quizzically. Why was he in such a good mood? Unluckily for Kaos, he didn't have to wait long to find out. Kyrel locked his gaze with Kaos', then held his hand up as if waving. Though, it was anything but a wave. More like an indication of war. That and the spell Kyrel cast with this motion, replacing Kaos' mouth with a closed zipper that would not open. Rage bubbled up in Kaos and he came to a quick stop. Tensing up. Trying not to take drastic measures. Too late. Kaos whirled around and rammed into Kyrel, knocking them both to the ground. It was just Kaos' nature. He couldn't help it. The two scrabbled around, rolling around in the dirt until Kaos managed somehow to pin Kyrel roughly. The look Kaos gave Kyrel was a mix of raw fury and hatred. He was starting to really despise this guy. Who cares what he might have seemed like at first, Kyrel was like this now. And personally, Kaos found him more of a nagging nuisance than anything. Kyrel looked back at Kaos like he was scared of the Dark Portal Master, genuinely; but he was feigning it. His eyes had been closed, but now he opened them and they crackled with white energy. Kyrel smirked and grabbed Kaos by the wrists. An electric shock resounded through Kaos' arms and traveled all through his body, stunning him. Kyrel got to his feet, pushing Kaos to the ground and leaving him there. He then turned and ran over to the field. People had been watching the little struggle, but no one stopped to help Kaos. They just stared at him as they walked past, then didn't pay him a second glance afterwards, to check if he was okay or not. They didn't really care, to be frank. Electricity crackled through Kaos, making it hard for him to move in the slightest. He could feel the numb, searing pain flitting through every inch of his body. Slowly but steadily fading away with every passing second he lay there. Motionless. Finally, Kaos got to his feet slowly. Most of the initial 'shock' had dissipated, leaving him with only a little jolt or two racing through his bloodstream. Not wanting to go to class in this state, Kaos trudged off. Back into, not the Academy, but the dorm building and down the hallways until he reached his door. Slamming the door shut once he had entered.
