"Vell (Name), vhat do you vant to do?"

'Me? Choose? Are you serious?' you mentally screamed.

How were you going to choose one country out of dozens? There were so many you would love to go with, while some others you made a point of not even bothering to consider. You let your mind wander as your eyes scanned the room. China was trying to give you the best puppy eyes he could, which almost worked until Russia leaned near him with a dark aura around him. You stifled a giggle and continued to scan the room, taking in all the various expressions of the individual nations. Some were happy, some were uncertain, and some others you couldn't even tell.

A quiet whisper, almost too faint to pick up, caught your ear and you turned your head to see Finland whispering to Sweden. He kept taking quick glances at you, but Sweden just stared right at you. His intimidating glare and presence made you sink back in your seat in fear. Finland continued talking with him, making different expressions from excited to pouting. It would have been amusing to watch if you didn't have Sweden staring at you. It was like he was staring into your soul, silently judging you for any flaws.

"Sweden, stop glaring at zhe poor frau. You're scaring her," Germany scolded.

Sweden just looked at him then back to you, his features softening slightly, but not enough to make you feel comfortable. Finland then had a determined look in his eyes as he said something to Sweden. Whatever he said made Sweden's eyes widen slightly, but he then closed then and shook his head. Undeterred, Finland rose from his chair, ignoring the look he was getting from Sweden and the other Nordics, and addressed Germany.

"She can stay with us. We have an extra guestroom she can use," he said with a gentle smile.

"Are you sure zhat everyone in your household vill be alright vith zhis?"

Finland turned to the others, a pleading look on his face.

"She can totally stay with us, bro," Denmark said cheerfully.

"Hey, wait for us to make our decisions," Iceland complained from beside Denmark, "but I guess she could stay. No one is using that room anyway."

"If my lille bror says she can stay then I say she can stay," Norway said monotonely, "besides, she can use the guestroom till she goes back home."

Sweden saw he was out voted and just sighed, nodding his head in hesitant agreement.

'Is...Is he afraid that I might do something wrong?' you questioned in your head.

By now you kind of understood why he was hesitant with letting you stay with them. He didn't like the fact that Finland was beginning to take an interest in you. Honestly, for Finland to go against Sweden's decision also took you by surprise, but you knew that if Finland saw someone in need he couldn't just leave them be. He was always too caring and too nice.

"Alright, zhen zhat is settled. (Name) vill stay vith the Nordics and England vill vork on zhe spell to send her home. Now, I see nothing else is going to get done, so I say zhis meeting is done."

He then got up, followed by Italy and Japan, and headed out the door. The rest of the countries began following suit, some saying goodbye to you while others shook your hand. After most of the countries left, Finland came up to you with a smile and held out his hand. You gladly took it and he helped you up.

You still had the blanket over your shoulders, and you hugged it to yourself tightly since you were beginning to feel cold.

"Come on! I'll introduce you to everyone," pulling you towards the other four.
