"Vell (Name)? Vhat do you vish to do?"
As soon as those words left his mouth, all the eyes in the room turned to you. Talk about pressure right? Each of their eyes practically begged you to choose them, and some were far more impatient than others. This included Prussia, Denmark, and America. All three were giving you the best puppy dog eyes they could muster, and unfortunately it was slowly breaking your confident stance.
You wanted to be able to choose who you went with without all of the distractions and begging. Your eyes darted around the room left to right. You were searching for a country you knew wouldn't treat you poorly, and that would protect you from anything that would potentially harm you.
It was then you felt a sharp stare boring into you from the right side of the table. You turned your head towards that direction, but immediately squeaked upon meeting the country's eyes.
Staring intently at you was none other than Sweden. His turquoise eyes were staring straight at you, not wavering in the slightest. It felt like he was judging you, but if he was it was hard to tell from the intimidating expression on his face. You began to figet in your seat as he continued to stare at you, and it was only until Finland intervened that he looked away.
"Su-San, I think you are scaring the poor girl," he whispered.
Berwald just looked back and forth between the two of you a couple times berfore averting his gaze elsewhere. You sighed in relief as his stare wasn't on you anymore and sent a silent thank you to Finland. He just nodded happily in return, but you could see that he was pondering over something. He asked Sweden a question, which Denmark somehow overheard, and before Sweden could answer Denmark spoke up for him.
"Of course she can with us, Finland."
"It's not your house, you idiot," Norway scolded.
"Yeah, Denmark. It's Su-San's house. We have to have his permission, not yours."
"Just let her stay," Sweden stated bluntly, "Denmark will just do what he wants anyway."
Denmark fist pumped in the air as Norway and Iceland shook their heads as his antics. Finland seemed pleased you could stay with them while Sweden had turned his gaze back onto you.
'Why does he keep staring at me?!' you thought fretfully.
"Ahem," Germany coughed to get everyone's attention. "It seems ve have a decision, vhich I hope everyone agrees vith, so I believe zhis meeting is now over. Ve most likely vont get anyzthing else done, so zhis meeting is adjourned."
He picked up his papers and motioned for Japan and Italy to follow him. Each of them gathered their papers as said goodbye to you. Well more like Italy glomped you and Japan bowed before leaving through the door. Each of the other countries also said their goodbyes as they left, leaving you and the Nordics in the room. The stare from earlier had seemed to strengthen after Italy had hugged you, and now felt like someone was trying to burn a hole through your head. Glancing back at the Nordics, you noticed they were each getting up from their seats.
Berwald was the first to approach your smaller form as he held out a hand to help you up. You said thank you before grabbing his hand and pulling yourself up off the chair. He didn't reply back and just stood there as the others gathered around the two of you.
"Why don't we head home? I'm sure everyone is tired," Tino suggested, breaking the awkward silence.
They all agreed with you nodding your head as well. As you walked through the hallways, you couldn't help but feel slightly out of place amongst the five men. Each of them were talking amongst themselves...well except for Sweden. Finland was the one doing all the talking as he continued to listen. Although, you did catch him sneak a glance back at you every few seconds.
