Chapter 18
I gulped and glanced back at Fire. He was staring at the ground with his hands clasped behind his back. I turned my gaze back to Bone Breaker and stepped forward defiantly. "Is she on our side?" he asked Fire coldly. Fire nodded, not taking his eyes off the ground. Bone Breaker walked close to me and took a strand of my hair in his fingers. "One of us now," he snarled. He tugged on my hair making me want to cry out, but I bit my lip so I didn't.
He smiled. "Welcome to the dark side!" he said cheerfully. I gave him a strange look. Fire was smiling. I must've looked confused becasue Bone Breaker patted my back. I flinced away, but he just smiled again. "I'm not really a mean person," he said. "I can be nice if I want to." I nodded, still biting my lip. He slapped my back harder, making me stumble forward a bit. "Loosen up, girlie!" he said. "Let's go. Everyone's waiting to see you."
I lagged behind Fire and Bone Breaker. Is he serious? He tries to kill me, but now he's nice and everything? You've got to be kidding me. Bone Breaker dropped back to walk beside me. "Hey, call me Jason," he said. "I have no idea where everyone got 'Bone Breaker' from, but it's not my name." I nodded. "Call me Marcie," I squeaked. I slapped my back again. "I'm not going to hurt you, girl, loosen up a bit!" he said. He led me to a big room that looked like a living room.
Every supervillan was here, waiting for me. I gulped and stood there awkwardly. "Um, hi," I said. "Call me Marcie." Some villan squealed and jumped up. She grabbed me into a hug. "Oh, Marcie!" she said. "I've been waiting for you!" I smiled awkwardly and patted her back. "Uhuh," I said. She rolled her eyes. "Everyone calls me Wipeout Willow," she said. "I have no idea why. Just call me Willow!" I smiled. "Okay, Willow," I said. Someone picked me up from behind and spun me around. I giggled. This wasn't too bad.
"Put me down!" I said. He did and I flipped around to see who it was. "Who are you?" I asked. He rolled his eyes. "I'm Jacob Sims," he said. "But you can call me Jake." I looked at him through my eyelashes. "What do you do?" I asked. He smirked. He twirled his finger around me and wind swirled around me, picking my hair up. I giggled. Then he threw fire in my face, or tried to, at least. I threw water on it quickly. He smirked. "Better then I thought," he mumbled. Someone tossed him out of the way and was replaced by a big girl. And when I say big, I mean muscular.
"Um, hello," I said. She looked at me like I was an idiot. "I know your little plans," she said, cracking her knuckles. "I'm not falling for it." I looked around nervously. "Um, okay," I said. "Don't know what you're talking about, but sure." She punced me in the face, hard. I glared at her as my face healed. She gave me a weird look and walked away quickly. I smirked and put my hands on my hips.
I turned around and someone put their hands over my eyes. "Guess who," Fire said huskily. "Fire," I said, smiling. Jake was next to him. "Ooh, Marcie has a 'thing' for Fire!" he said. I huffed, blushing. "No I don't," I said. Fire smiled down at me. Then Jake whispered something to him and Fire smiled. Then he leaned down to my ear and whispered, "You're cute when you blush." I blushed harder as he kissed my cheek. Jake laughed and Fire smirked. I hid my face from them.
"Marcie!" Willow called. "Yes?" I said. "I want you to meet my boyfriend!" she said. I walked near her voice. She led me to a fattish looking boy who smiled warmly at me. "Um," I whispered to Willow. "Are you sure he's a villan?" She gave me a look. "Of course he is, silly," she said. "Introduce yourself, sweetie." He stood up and held out a hand to me. "I'm Lucas Gunn," he said. "Call me Luke." I took his hand and smiled. Willow kissed his cheek and he blushed. "Ooh, I love you so much, honey!" she said. He smiled and said, "Love you too, Willie." I smiled at their ordeal and turned around to give them privacy.
