Chapter 27

I flew to school and went by Mrs. Maddy's window. This is going to be hilarious. I knocked on the window and smiled. She looked over, still talking, then looked away. She did a double take and her mouth dropped open. I smirked as the class looked to see what she was looking at. I waved and smiled cheekily. Josh was smirking and Dustin looked mad. I opened the window and 'accidentally' ripped it off. I stepped into the classroom.

"Oops," I said, tilting my head in an innocent way, "Clumsy me." Mrs. Maddy snapped out of her stupor. "Get out of my classroom!" I blew in her direction and she smacked against the blackboard. "Make me," I said, low and menacing. She backked away from me and I smiled triumphantly. "Who wants to skip?" I asked, turning to the class. Almost everyone raised their hands. "Okay, out," I said. "Oh, Mrs. Maddy!" I turned back to her. "You won't tell on any of them," I said, grabbing onto the front of her shirt, "Will you?" She shook her head quickly. I smiled, "Good."

The class ran out of the room, whooping and screaming. I smirked. "Now, Mrs. Maddy," I said. "You will let Selena Starr back in this class, because, you see, she's a really good friend of mine, and I want her to get a good education, okay?" She cowered against the blackboard, "Whatever you want, just don't hurt me." I smirked. I pushed her and said, "Good. Now get out of my face!" She walked out of the room, and soon, so did I.

I ran down the hallways singing, "Give me everything tonight! Give me everything!" A few kids peeked out the classroom door and I smiled and waved. I walekd straight to the office. The b*tchy secretary looked up and squealed, scrambling out of her chair. "Now, now," I said. "I just want to make an announcement." I grabbed the intercom and turned it on.

I cleared my throat, "Eh, em. Hey, guys! This is Marcie Night! I want everyone in this school to go to the gym. If you don't . . well . . anyone want to try me? Anyway I have two important messages and if you don't follow them, there's going to be a big problem. Thank you!" I turned it off and flipped around to walk to the gym. Suddenly Principal Kimmons stood in my way. "Excuse me," he said. I just kept walking. He tried to block my way. I picked him up and threw him out of my way. "You're excused," I said cheekily and ran ot the gym.

Everyone was there. I coughed. They didn't shut up. "Excuse me!" I shouted. I clapped and everyone got drenched. They were quiet. "Thank you," I said. "Now, here's what I want you to do. Everyone know Selena?" Only a few people nodded their heads. I looked to Dustin. He had this knowing look on his face. I rolled my eyes, "Mary?" They all got tiny lightbulbs over their heads. I felt like smacking them all. "Here's the deal," I said. "She's my best friend, so if you ever call her Mary again, there's going to be consequences. Got it?"

There was a chorus of 'yes' and 'yeah' went through the gymnasium. I nodded and smiled. "Okay, who wants to see a show?" Everyone stared at me. "You know, like . ." I jumped in the air and did a flip. I stayed in the air. A few people cheered. I commanded my hair to go on fire. I raised my hands and set them on fire, too. Most people were cheering now, even Olivia. I smirked down at the teachers. Principal Kimmons was looking at me like I was going to trash the place.

I threw a water ball at the students, but when they screamed, I stopped it, right above their heads. Then they started laughing. I twirled it around and made it rain. I ran in circles around them all really fast, so I ws a blur. Then I said, "I need a voulenteer, please!" A few people raised their hands. I picked Marvel. "Hey, Marvel," I said, so no one else would hear, "love Selena yet?" He blushed. "Ready?" I picked him up with my pinkie. Most of them had their mouths wide open; some even looked impressed. I smirked and threw him into the air. His eyes bulged, but he didn't scream.

I made air go all around him so he would stay in the air. The school was screaming. "I want a turn!" "Me next!" "Me, me me!" I smirked and let Marvel down. He ran up to me and hugged me. I patted his back awkwardly. He pulled away with a rueful smile. "Thanks, Marcie," he said. I nodded. Then I closed my eyes. I thought about It. Then I vanished.

"Where are you, Marcie?" Dustin was shaking his head. "Marcie, Marcie. Come back." I tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around and narrowed his eyes. "Damnit, Jamie, just come back," he said. I had a feeling he wasn't talking about coming into view. "Looks like it's time to go," I said. "But first . ." I crept up to Dustin's annoying, mean, rude group of friends. I made each of their . . um . . 'areas' wet and then went in their little circle. I closed my eyes and made myself on fire. No one could see me yet, even if I'm on fire.

"Boo!" I screamed, coming into view. They all screamed, like girls, in fact, and jumped away. I think one really did pee himself. I put my fire out and busted up laughing. "Oh, that was classic!" I said, still doubled over. They looked mad, until someone screamed, "Ew! You peed yourselves!" Then the whole school was laughing at them. Still laughing, I said, "Looks like my job here is done." Waving, I left through the window to go see what Fire is up to.
