Chapter 7

I walked to lunch with a smug smile on my face. Mr. Pompus didn't know what hit him. I met Marvel at the lunch table, but he was sitting with someone else. "Marvel?" I asked, getting worried. He glanced at me and said, "What are you doing here?" I looked at him confused. "We always sit together at lunch.." I said, but trailed off; he wasn't listening. "Marvel!" I said, slamming my hand on the table. "I have to tell you the funniest thing! So I walked into.."

I didn't get that far, as he got up with his friend and walked away. I started after him with a confused face on. What the heck was that? Then I remembered we fought the other day and never made up. "Marvel!" I called after him. "I'm sorry!" He acted as if he didn't hear, so I walked closer to him. His friend sneered at me and Marvel said, "Get out of here, Mary." I fumed. "Don't call me that!" I said fiercely. He smirked. "Why? Because you know it's true? Mary, just leave. We're not friends anymore."

I started at him. Everone who calls me Mary thinks I'm a virgin and won't do anything fun. Such as make out or take my clothes off for them. I'm am a virgin, and I won't take my clothes off, but still. It's rude. I huffed. "Fine!" I said, whirling around. "But don't you worry, Jamie will be hearing about this!" I stormed away before he had a chance to answer.

Jamie's pissed at him, and so is Selena. I stalked to my locker and threw my sandwich in it, slamming it, hard. I broke the door right off. I used my super strength without even noticing. "Oh, shit!" I said, looking around to see if anyone saw. It looked like no one did, but what could I do? I picked my locker door up and ran to the office.

I opened the door and the secretary looked up and scowled. "What?" she barked. I stood tall and proud. "Someone broke my locker door off," I announced. She rolled her eyes at me. I held up the door. "See?" I said, trying not to smile. She put her glasses a little farther down on her nose and her eyes widened a fraction. "Principal Kimmon!" she called. He walked out leisurely and asked, "What?" She pointed to me and he asked, "You ripped your locker door off?"

My eyes bugged. "How could I do that?" I asked. He stared at me hard. "You stupid little girl!" he shouted. "Detention for a month! How do you expect me to get that back on?" I stuttered. "Well- you could get a repair man here, or get new hinges- I- I need a new locker.." I said. He laughed, a cruel bitter laugh. "You're going to have to use that one. You ruin it, you suffer the consequences," He said, smirking.

My mouth dropped open. "What?" I screeched. "Use the broken locker," he stated and walked calmly back into his office, slamming hte door behind him. I stamed my foot and stormed out of the room. I threw the locker at the office door and it made a loud bang. I laughed. I walked to my locker grumbling under my breath. I threw everything in my backpack except for my books. I didn't want anyone to steal anything!

I was walking to class when I heard, "Selena Starr, to the principal's office!" They didn't even say please! "I hate this school," I said, walking to the office. "Ooh!" I heard. "What did you do now, Mary?" I flipped the bird in the general direction of the voice, not even turning around to see who it was. I stormed into the office and glared at the secretary.

She pointed to the Principal's office with a sneer. I returned it gladly. I burst into the office and sat down. Principal Kimmons smirked at me. "Did you throw the locker door when you were leaving?" he asked smugly. I was about to deny it, when I said, "You know what? Yes, yes I did." The smug look dropped off his face. "What, no denying it?" he asked. I shook my head. "Nope," I said, popping the 'p'. "I threw my locker door at the office door. Whatcha gonna do?"

He smirked at me again and said, "I'm going to make you sit at the front of each class and participate in gym." I looked at him. "That's it?" I said, laughing. "That's pathetic." He smiled smugly and said, "Want to be expelled?" I shrugged. "Be my guest," I said. He stared at me. "Get out," he said. "Mary." I stormed out and leisurely walked to class.
