"Boys! We're home!" Emily yelled as she unlocked the door to the mansion. I grabbed Emily's arm.
"Can you please not tell them? I want to tell everyone on my own when I'm ready." Emily smiled at me.
"Of course sweetheart." As soon as she finished, an adorable little boy came barreling into the room.
"Hi Emmett." Emily cooed, putting emphasis on his name for me. I took out my phone and made a note.
"Emmett baby? I want you to meet our new friend, Phoenix. She's gonna be staying with us for a while." Emmett looked at me and a huge smile overtook his face. He ran over to me and hugged my legs.
"Come on Phoenix! Layla made cookies!" He squealed. "They're the best!" He took my hand and lead me down a bunch of hallways till we made it to the kitchen.
"Good luck." A pretty lady with blonde hair said as she sneaked out of the kitchen.
"COOKIES!" Emily called through an intercom. In a matter of seconds, tons of footsteps were heard from above us. Then boys came running through the doorway, but there were only 5.
Emily threw herself in front of the cookies, throwing her arms out to protect them. "Boys I want you to meet Phoenix Mann. As soon as you introduce yourself you can have a cookie."
"Emmett!" Emmett yelled, running up the stairs. Everyone chuckled as they stepped forward. An amazingly cute boy with brown hair and brown eyes was standing in front of me. He shot me a dazzling smile.
"Dylan." He grabbed a cookie and wiggled it in front of me. "These are the best." He took a bite and walked out. Two identical boys walked up next.
"Jayden." One said.
"Kayden." Another said as they both took cookies. Then two boys walked up.
"Cody and Chance, we're twins." They took cookies and sat at the table with the other twins.
"Where are Sage and Nico?" Emily asked coming back into the room.
"Who cares!" All the boys said at the same time, monotone. I stifled back a giggle. Emily handed me a cookie. I took a bite and my taste buds exploded.
"HOLY CRAP!" I mumbled with cookie in my mouth. Everyone laughed at my reaction.
"Jayden or Kayden? Would one of you please show and help Phoenix to her room? I was gonna have Nico do it but he's not here."
Jayden stood up because he was done with his cookies. "I will momma." She smiled at him.
"Thank you baby." Jayden smiled at me and took two boxes while I grabbed my backpack, my blanket, and Tort and a suitcase and followed Jayden to a set of stairs and two elevators.
"Which one?"
"Elevator." I say indefinitely out of breath. We go up to my room and Jayden takes my things in and we go back and forth, bringing the rest up. I finally get to walk in and when I do, I gasp.
My bedroom was like the size of my old room, my dads room and the guest room put together and I haven't even seen the bathroom yet. It had a huge jumbo king size canopy bed in the center, pink walls, a giant window with a cushioned bench underneath it with a view of the gorgeous backyard, a jumbo walk in closet and a giant flat screen tv. Jayden smirked at me.
"Like it?" I shook my head and he frowned.
"I love it." I whisper, letting my eyes scan over the room again.
"Good. Mom said she'll take you out later to go shopping to fix up the room and for clothes, but I'm sure mom and Layla will just make clothes for you. Layla designs clothes as a side job." I nod my head, thanking him as he left.
