"Phoenix!" a voice yelled from somewhere in the room. I popped awake and looked around. Nico was standing in the doorway, smiling cutely. I smiled back and patted the bed next to me.
He shut the door and walked over and cuddled up next to me. After a few moments of cuddling, Nico raised his head.
"Phoenix can I ask you a question?"
"Sure."
"Do you like that boy?" I froze in his arms.
"Jesse?" he nodded, "Yeah, but we decided no." I paused. "For now."
"For now?" he asked tentatively.
"Yes. I told him about...here, and we both thought it would be better if we date when I go back for a longer time. We care about each other too much."
"What about us?" he sat up and stared down at me. I sat up too.
"You never asked me Nico!" I stated, slowly. He sighed, realizing I was right.
"Dang it! I have to actually ask you?" he asked, grinning my favorite grin. I had to look away to keep from smiling.
"I saw that smile Phoenix!" he called, grabbing my waist and pulling me to him. I let out a laugh.
"Nico! Let me go!" I cried out, holding onto his hands to make him let me go.
"Nope not until you say yes!" I laughed again as he pinched my side.
"Yes to what? Nico! Stop tickling m-me!" he pulled me into his lap, placing his lips against my ear.
"To being my girlfriend." he stated, huskily. I froze, not caring about the tickling.
"Y-You want me to be your girlfriend?" he nodded his head.
"Mmhmm."
"You don't know how bad I want to say yes, but I don't want to ruin it." he moved his hands to turn me in his lap, I just stared down at our laps.
"You won't ruin it. I'll help."
"I know you will, but anytime I get really close to someone, I feel weird then I end it." I said quietly.
"Well I won't let that happen." he said softly. I felt the tears well up in my eyes.
"I know you won't, I just don't want to ruin anything we have now."
"You won't baby."
"LET'S GO!" I jumped away as Dylan through open the door.
"PHOENIX! Get up and get dressed! Geez! We leave in 20 minutes!" I nodded and got the clothes off my dresser and went to change in the bathroom.
I stepped out and found my suitcase gone and grabbed Tort, my daddy blanket and my backpack, throwing my pjs in there.
I walked out of the room with my phone and backpack and found the boys sitting on the couch waiting.
"Finally!" Dylan yelled, hurling himself off the couch and looping his arm with mine and pulling me towards the elevators.
"Psst! Phoenix!" he whispered loudly.
"Yes?" I whispered loudly back.
"I'm really sorry for yelling at you the other day, i really am." I smiled up at him and stopped and gave him a tight hug, wrapping my arms around his neck as his hands landed on my waist.
