"Oh daddy I missed you soo much!" I cried into his uniform. I didn't care if people were staring, they saw the uniform and they saw me hugging the man in the uniform and they should've known right away that this was a reunion.

I lifted my head after literally 10 minutes of holding my dad and saw everyone in the restaurant was watching us with tears in their eyes and smiled on their faces. I laughed, whipping away the tears and got off my dad and looked up at his scraggly face.

He hadn't changed.

I turned and saw my best friends.

My family.

They all watched us with smiles on their faces, accomplished smiles.

I rolled my eyes. "I love you guys!" I said as I walked towards them and we shared a group hug.

"We love you more!" they sang into my ear.

After a while we decided to sit down, that's what the fifth chair was for, and we talked about anything and everything.

"I had a best friend over there, but I lost him when we were stationed somewhere, the other side set off a nuke or something big and he got caught under the ruble along with a few others and we couldn't save them, we were ordered out right away." right now we were asking just random, serious questions.

"What about those boys baby?" my eyes widened at his blatant question, my friends just chuckled at my response.

"What boys daddy?" he rolled his eyes and stuck a fry in his mouth.

"Oh you know the ones you LIVE WITH!" I laughed at his amused expression.

"They're fine."

"Mmhmm." Aly mumbled from the other side. I gaped at her as the boys laughed at me.

"What about Nico and Dyaln?"

"Dylan asked out my friend so they're dating, and Nico-is-Nico." I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face.

"OOOOOO!" my dad and Aly screeched from their seats. I shushed them as my face turned red. I did not want to be talking about this with two boys, that I liked, sitting at the table.

"So this Nico character...?" my dad dragged on. My smile soon disappeared as I remembered the real reason I agreed to come.

"He's just weird, but I don't know how far anything with him is going to go. He's a major flirt and he acts like he cares for me and I believe him but I don't know if it's true or not. He makes sure I'm happy and when I'm not, he cheers me up. He's always there when you call to hold my hand, he's my supporter. But he's a player and was flirting with someone at the funeral, I can't be with someone who flirts with girls while we're---" I didn't finish cause I didn't know what we were. I stared at the napkin I had been ripping.

"Are you guys dating?" my dad asked quietly enough for the table to hear. I shrugged my shoulders, taking note of Jesse's now relaxed form at my gesture.

"I don't know. He treats me like I'm his girlfriend but he never asked me." I mumbled.

"Never popped the question." my dad mumbled.

"Do you like him?" Austin asked.

"I don't know. Everything is really confusing right now."

"Like how?" My dad and Aly asked.
