"Cody! This is Daisy!" I said, walking into the kitchen." He jerked his head up rudely then saw Daisy and calmed down.
"Who?" I rolled my eyes.
"My best friends. Daisy, Austin and Hayley's upstairs with Jayden." He gave me a confused look.
"Did him and Lizzy break up?" I nodded my head.
"She wanted to do it with him so he broke it off." He nodded his head and patted the seat next to him for Daisy to sit on.
I took that as my cue to leave and me and Austin went into the backyard to talk.
Nico's P.O.V.
I looked out the window and glared. Why the hell were they even here? I can hug her just as good as that poser can! I angrily stormed up to Dylan's room.
"Why are they even here?" I grumbled, falling onto his bed.
"I don't know man. Maybe she needs her real friends? Not people she's known for a couple weeks." He looked pissed off too.
"You not likin this either?" He grumbled some nonsense.
"Course not. She hasn't even said one word to me this afternoon."
"That's what we get. She has another guy for a best friend we get left in the dust when he comes."
"Screw him. We should definitely pull her away." He said.
"What's he gonna do then? She'll pull him in too." He nodded his head.
"True man." He sighed. "How long are they gonna be here for?"
"Two days I think I heard mom say." He nodded again.
"Good."
"Yeah. We need to get our girl back."
Phoenix's P.O.V.
"What'd you wanna tell me Austin?" I ask him when we're in the backyard alone. I watch him tense up.
"Nothing. Its not important." I nod my head.
"Ok." We've been sitting outside for a while just talking, I think about an hour now, and its getting kinda hot.
"So do you like one of them?"
"Two." I admit.
"Who?"
"Nico and Dylan." It just hit me.
I don't like Austin.
I was confused and not thinking straight with all that's happening. I felt a flow of relief wash over me as I came clear to my thoughts.
"Who's Dylan?"
"I'll introduce you." He nodded his head as I got up and headed back to the house. Austin followed suit as I made my way up the stairs to Dylan's room.
"We gotta get our girl back." I hear Nico say before I knock on the door. I get butterflies in my stomach as I hear him say this. Somehow I just know its about me. And it makes me really happy. Nico opens the door and smiles at me then sees Austin and his gorgeous smile disappears.
"Can I come in?" I ask softly. He moves aside and lets me in.
"Hi." I say to Dylan. He looks up and energy takes place in his eyes, then they land on Austin and that cute spark disappears.
"I wanted to introduce you." I sit on Dylan's bed and motion to Austin. "This is Austin. Austin this is Dylan and Nico."
"Nice to meet you. Well Phoenix I think I'm going to go to bed I'll see you in the morning." I know exactly what he's doing and I love him for it.
"Ok goodnight." I fall back on Dylan's bed and look at my handsome best friend. "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you guys a lot tonight. A lot was going on." Dylan shrugges.
"It's ok. Now we get to talk to you." I smile.
"Yeah.'' I reached over and took Dylan's phone off of his lap and sent all our pictures to me. There are still comments and likes coming in on that picture!
It was 11 o'clock when we decided to go to bed. Nico walked me to my room since his is right across the hall and kissed my cheek goodnight and watched me walk into my room.
I am never washing this cheek ever again!
"Phoenix? Wake up." A small, gentle voice said into my ear. I turn over and see Nico. I pushed his face away from me and grumbled, turning back over.
"Go away!" I mumbled into my pillow. He chuckled.
"Nope." He said popping the p. "You gotta wake up for school."
"I don't gotta do anything." I mumbled. He laughed and walked out of the room to get ready for school. Austin, Daisy, and Hayley leave today, they're driving back, so they're leaving this morning. I get up out of bed and find a pair of black leggings and a blue t shirt and braid my hair back out of my face and do my make up naturally. I pull on a pair of black Vans and grab my phone and backpack and go downstairs for breakfast.
I said my goodbyes to my friends and left for school in Dylan's car. "Are you glad your friends came to see you?" Dylan asked me as we sped down the road.
"Yes! I ended up figuring out some things that needed to be figured out and I got to see them!" I told the guys as I saw the school come into view.
"So Jayden? How was Hayley?" I asked, smiling at him. He rolled his eyes but I saw his cheeks turn pink and a slight upturn of the corner of his mouth.
"Good."
"What'd you guys do?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
"Kissed. A lot." I gaped at him.
"Are you serious?" He grinned.
"Yup." He popped the p. I rolled my eyes and turned back around, the school coming closer.
