"So Ms. Phoenix. Wanna play a game with me?" Nico asked me, raising his eyebrows and standing up. I looked up at him an gave him an I'm not stupid look.

"I'm not playing with you." I told him as he started to laugh, it was then that I realized that he was shirtless and looked damn good!

"Stop that and play questions with me!" He demanded, sticking out his hand to help me up. I took it and he led me to the bed. I sat and lay against the headboard, as he sat criss cross at my feet. His eyes looked up at me while his head was down and he raised an eyebrow and grinned at me. I took a deep breath.

"Don't do that, and ask a flipping question!" I told him, trying to look away. He laughed.

"Why? Does this," he motioned towards himself. "Turn you on?"

"Just ask the damn question." I mumbled.

"Calm down calm down." He laughed. "I'm gonna go basic here and ask what's your favorite color?" I smirked, getting comfortable.

"Good question." I muttered. "Pink." He smiled. "What's yours?" He smirked.

"That's your question? I just asked that!" I rolled my eyes.

"No! It's just...part of my answer." He laughed.

"Well... Because its "part of your answer," I guess I'll answer it... Green." I grinned.

"I should've known." I mumbled, looking at the different shades all around the room. "Hmm what's your favorite movie?" He thought for a moment.

"Hmm that's a hard one... Maybe 21 Jump Street or A Walk to Remember?" I laughed.

"A walk to remember?!" I tried to catch my breath.

"No wait! The Last Song! I cry every time!" I can't tell if he's being sarcastic or not.

"I love the Last Song." I whisper. "But I hate Miley Cyrus." I grumble, as he started laughing.

"Eh don't hate." He smirked. I smacked him on the knee.

"Ask me a question!" He thought for a minute.

"Who are you closest to in the house?" I furrowed my eyebrows at him and smiled.

"Uhm well at the moment, Dylan or Emily." He choked a little.

"My mom?!" I blushed and nodded.

"Yeah I guess I mean she was friends with my mom and dad and she's the only girl I mean that I talk to in the house." He put his hand over my mouth.

"Stop rambling, it's cute!" I gave him a confused look.

"Thank you?" I say slowly. I smiled.

"How many girls have you hooked up with?" He looked taken aback by this question. He thought for a moment.

"3 maybe 4?" Now it was my turn to be taken aback.

"Wow really? I would have thought like 50 something." I grinned up at him, biting my lip.

"Ha ha very funny." He stuck his tongue out at me.

"Alright my turn...How many guys have you kissed?" I smiled up at him.

"None." He furrowed his eyebrows and his eyes got wide.

"What! That's impossible. This is a game of questions you're supposed tell the truth." He crossed his arms.

"I-I- I am telling the truth." I say quietly, blushing. He looked so surprised.

"Wow. That's unreal. Is that like YOU decided that, or just that no guys are attracted to you?" I rolled my eyes and gave him a sarcastic look.

"My choice thank you very much." I crossed my arms and have him a know it all look.

"I get two questions now." His mouth popped open.

"What? No!"

"What? Yeah! You asked two questions so I get two."

He rolled his eyes and sat back, crossing his arms across his chest. "Fine." He grumbled.

"Ok. Well...What's up with Sage?" He gave me a confused look then realization crossed his face.

"Oh that's not for me to answer. You should ask him." I rolled my eyes and grumbled.

"I don't even talk to him!" He sighed.

"Urg! Fine! But just don't go all acting different towards him, he hates that." I nodded my head and payed attention.

"Sage has ADHD."

"Oh wow. Uhm well," I scratched the back of my neck, "I do too." His eyes widened as his eyebrows rose.

"Wow really? You're nothing like Sage." I shrugged my shoulders.

"I can control my self better?" He laughed.

"Probably." He sighed. "Next." I rolled my eyes.

"Ok." I blushed. "How many girls have you..." He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Had sex with? You know you can say it right?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes and yes." I said quickly. He chuckled.

"None. I'm a virgin." I smiled, somewhat relieved that my new found friend is pure.

"My turn!" He sang. I rolled my eyes and sat forward in anticipation.

"Kay? Are you a virgin?" My eyes widened.

"Yes! If I haven't been kissed then obviously I haven't had sex!" He shook his head.

"You can have sex without kissing." I crossed my arms.

"That's pretty bad sex then." I mumble. He started laughing like a crazy man before calming down.

"Alrighty then. Who are you dating?" He rose his eyebrows and smirked.

"Her name is Trinity."

"You're actually dating someone!?" He rolled his eyes.

"Yes I'm...dating someone." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Why'd you say it like that?" He made an odd look like he was trying to find the right words.

"We're not dating per say, it's like a friends with benefits thing."

"Does she know that?" He gave me an ahh you got me there look.

"Probably not." He smiled.

"Do you want your dad to be in the Army?" My smile dropped.

"No." He rose his eyebrows and came over and sat next to me with his back resting against the headboard.

"Can I ask why?" I nodded.

"I love my daddy more than anything. He's my best friend, and the only person I have left in my family. I don't want him to die and leave me here all by my self." He nodded, still thinking.

"Phoenix? Can I ask what happened to your mom?" I took a deep breath.

"My mom died about three years ago. She was battling breast cancer, but she lost the battle. My momma and daddy were my best friends. We did everything together, I told them everything and they never kept secrets from me. My whole life, I watched my momma fight cancer. She just had enough energy to have me. After she had me, it was hospital rooms, hospital visits, doctors appointments day in and day out. When I turned 11 and 12, that's when the battle started getting harder. She started getting weaker. Started getting skinnier. Started loosing her gorgeous brown hair. She started to get pale and so weak she couldn't even feed her self. We ended up having to take her to the hospital as her home instead of staying at home. Then one day, the doctor came up to me and my daddy and told us that we should take her home and spend the next couple days with her at the most the next week, because it was going to be her last. My birthday is the worst day of the year. Can you guess why? She died that night. We had my birthday that day but at night, I went in to say goodnight and thank you to her and I found her...dead." I took a shaky breath.

"I hate my birthday. Despise it actually. My daddy tries to show happy but I know he's broken inside. And I hate to see him like that. My daddy told me that my birthday was one of the best and worst days of his life. My daddy asked my momma to marry him on my birthday when they were younger before I was born. So when they found out I was going to be born near their anniversary, she held it out till that day. So three things happened on my birthday.

My birth.

My parents anniversary.

And my momma's death.

My daddy told me that he was going into the Army to honor momma." I opened my eyes finally and realized that I was crying.

"Wow. I'm really sorry." I shook my head, wiping my eyes.

"No I'm glad I finally told someone. Now shut up its my turn to ask a question." He cracked a smile and waited for my question.

"Why does Matt treat you and Sage differently?" He scratched the back of his head.

"He's not our dad..." He looked up to see my shocked face. "Mom got raped once then the guy came back to get her because she hurt him and he raped her again, that time he got arrested."
