"Phoenix?" I heard Emily's voice say as I sat on the floor in my bedroom, staring at the picture of the four of us. Me and Austin smushing our faces together to get in the picture and Hayley and Daisy hugging each other next to us. We all looked so happy.
"Yes?" I whipped the tears from my cheeks. She walked over and placed a hand on my back, crouching next to me.
"Hun I picked Nico and Dylan because they're the most put together when it comes to this kind of stuff. And I know how close you are to them. They care about you a lot and I know you feel the same. I wanted someone you would be comfortable with in order to cry in front of." I nodded my head.
"Thank you." I whipped my nose and looked up at her.
"I have you're plane ticket and everything you'll need while being over there." I nodded and smiled at her.
"Thank you." I whispered, giving her a hug.
"I gave the things to the boys but you might want to bring a little backpack and put their tickets in there so that they don't get lost along with yours." I nodded.
"That is a good idea. Thank you."
"Are you ready? The boys are downstairs waiting." I nodded and stood with her, grabbing Tort and my daddy blanket, and finding a backpack and putting my ticket and my phone charger, headphones and wallet in there.
"Are you ready?" Nico whispered to me as I finished down the stairs with my suitcase. I nodded at him, as he gave my hand a squeeze.
"Me and Dylan are going to be here for you, so don't worry." He said louder so Dylan heard him.
"We really are Phoenix." I smiled at them both and asked them for their tickets.
"Why?" They asked at the same time.
"I'm going to put them in my bag so we don't loose them." I opened my bag and put them with mine.
Nico grabbed my hand, taking Tort from me. "Let's go." I smiled and nodded.
"I can't believe they stopped me because of my belly button ring! For real! That was so stupid!" I laughed as I sat in the plane seat between Dylan and Nico. Nico laughed with me while Dylan put our things in the overhead compartment, and sitting on the outside seat.
"I guess it works out both ways then? You finally got on the plane and you had to pull up your shirt, its good on my side." He said with a wink. I rolled my eyes and lifted my feet up in the seat and getting comfortable. Nico turned towards me.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked me, placing his hand on the armrest. I glanced at it, tempted to take it in mine.
"Just do it." He whispered almost too low for me to hear.
"Dylan is right there." I whispered back softly. He frowned.
"Who cares." He said a little louder.
"I do and so does Dylan." He rolled his eyes, gently hitting my arm.
"Come on. You and I both know that you were done with him the second you saw him with Ashley." I looked away from him, my cheeks burning.
"Told you." He mumbled as the flight attendant finished her speech and the plane started down the runway and into the air.
Dylan turned to us after the plane had got in the air and we were aloud to take off our seat belts.
"I'm going to the bathroom before people stink it up." I nodded.
"Sounds reasonable." I replied. I watched him get up and leave and as soon as he left I turned to Nico.
