"WAKE UP! TIME FOR SCHOOL!" Someone yelled into my dark room.

Shoot.

I slept through my alarm clock! I jumped out of bed and grabbed a pair of leggings and a pink loose tank top and threw it on, I ran into the bathroom and re-straightened my hair, and did my make up to make me look unrecognizable. I stepped out and put on my black Vans and grabbed my phone and bag and stepped out the door just as Emily yelled to get in the car. I stepped back and looked at myself in the doorway mirror. I looked great!

"You look pretty." Nico said from behind me as he stepped out of his room. I turned and smiled at him.

"Thank you. You're not too bad yourself." He smirked and let me walk first down the stairs.

"I try." I rolled my eyes as I stepped into Dylan's car and fastened my seatbelt.

"Finally. Are you guys done flirting and ready to go?" Dylan asked us. I gaped at him.

"What!" I said at the same time as Nico said,

"Yup." with a smile on his face. I gaped at him too.

"You guys are unbelievable." They laughed as Dylan took off down the driveway.

"Not funny."

"Whatever Phoenix. You're in smarty pants classes right?" I rolled my eyes.

"I guess you could say that. I finished my Junior classes so I'm pretty much taking all Senior classes."

"We might have classes then." Nico and Dylan said together. I furrowed my eyebrows and smiled.

"Cool?" Nico rolled his eyes and sat back in his seat, closing his eyes.

"You know? If you get past the ginormous ego you're actually pretty good looking." I said biting my lip. Dylan and Jayden started laughing as Nico opened his eyes and glared at me.

"Har har. You're quit the comic aren't you?" I shrugged my shoulders, looking out the window.

"I try." I heard him scoff as he went back to his nap.

"CLASS! Now that you all are back from Spring Break, we need to get back to work." I heard the teacher yelling from where I was in the hallway. I just got my schedule and I was trying to find my first period. I'm going to be that awkward girl who walks in late to class and everyone stares at like "ew who is she?".

I open the classroom door  and the teacher stops immediately and turns her head sharply in my direction.

"Why are you interrupting my class?" She barked. I could barley pay attention with the giant mole on her cheek moving up and down it was gross! I shook my head and looked at my schedule.

"Uh- I'm new." I said, handing her my schedule and taking the time to look at the class.

Ryan.

The only one I know is Ryan.

Great.

He caught me looking at him and smirked. I turned away as the teacher finished looking at my schedule.

"Class, this is Phoenix... what? How do you even say this?" I took a deep breath, trying not to snap and say something rude.

"Mann. Like a horses main." I rose my eyebrows at her to see if she understood.

"Ahh. Stupid. Ok. Take a seat in the back next to miss Sando. Ms. Sando please raise your hand." A hand shot up and I looked at who it belonged too. And wow was she gorgeous.
