Chapter 9- First Date

Joey's POV

I knocked on the door. Shane's mom answered.

Shane's mom: You're welcome to just walk in from now on!

Joey: Ok thanks!

Shane's mom: Just get Shane and when you guys are ready we'll leave.

Joey: Ok!

I went upstairs and into shane'a room.

Joey: Look what I found!

Shane was asleep on his bed. He was so cute! I guess he fell asleep waiting for me.

Joey: Hey! Shaney! Wake up!

He groaned and looked up at me.

Shane: Why?

Joey: C'mon don't you wanna find an apartment?

Shane: Oh! Yeah! Totally!

He stood up and stood close to me. He smiled and hugged me.

Shane: You know, I never told you that I love you too.

Joey: Do you?

I was nervous to hear the answer.

Shane: Of course! Why wouldn't I? Who doesn't love Joey Graceffa?!

I laughed. Shane is always hilarious! Not just in videos!

Joey: Ok. We should probably leave.

Shane: Wait I forgot something!

Joey: What?

Shane: This.

He leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back. I know he wanted to do something more but we needed to leave. After a minute we both pulled away. He smiled at me and I smiled back. He grabbed my hand as we walked downstairs.

Shane's POV

We held hands as we walked downstairs.

Mom: Oh!

Shane: Mom! Stop!

Mom: I'm sorry! You and Lisa never acted like this.

Shane: I didn't love Lisa! But I love Joey! That's right mom! You can't have him!

We all cracked up. I love Joey's laugh. It was perfect! He was perfect!

Mom: Alright let's go.

We got in my car. Joey sat next to me in the front seat. My mom sat in the back and told me where to drive. We checked out tons of apartments. A few we're good though.

Mom: Ok. Lets go home.

I drove us back. My mom got out.

Joey: Uh, wher-

Shane: Stay in the car. Lets go out to eat. I'm starving.

Joey: Shane, it's late and-

Shane: Good! We better hurry! Bye mom!!

Joey: Shaney! I'm tired!

Shane: Aww! I love that name!

Joey: Shane! I'm tired! I wanna sleep!

Shane: Hey! This was your idea!

Joey: How!!!

Shane: You said you wanted to go on a date.

Joey: Oh!

Joey's POV

Oh! This was a date. Our first date! He smiled and winked at me. Of course I laughed and smiled back.

Joey: Where are we going?

Shane: To your favorite place.

Joey: Thank you Shane!

Shane: Anything for you!

He grabbed my hand and kissed it. I just sat there blushing. I'm so weird! Soon we arrived at the place. We sat and ordered.

Shane: Did you like any of the apartments we saw today?

Joey: I liked the one with the big bedroom.

Shane: Oh my god Joey!

He started cracking up.

Shane: You're dirtier than me! It was just a normal question!

Joey: Ok! Sorry. Um, I really liked the one that was near your house.

Shane: Yeah me too.

Joey: Do you thinks it's the one?

Our food arrived. It looked so good! I admit, I'm starving too.

Shane: Maybe. I wanna talk about it with my mom first.

Joey: Yeah! Of course!

Shane: You should vlog.

Joey: Yeah! What about you?

Shane: I filmed one earlier talking about my break up with Lisa.

Joey: Ok! I'm gonna vlog.

(Vlogging)

Joey: Hello there everyone! Right now it's very late. And I'm here on a date with my boyfriend Shane!

Shane: Yeah! I broke up with Lisa just for you Joey.

I started to laugh. We both knew it was true but we need it to seem like we were joking.

Joey: So I got some chickenanyas again!

Shane: Wait! What the hell is up with the "anya" thing?

Joey: What?

Shane: You say it all the time. Like, hey this a chairanya, look at my hairanya. And...

He burped right in my face.

Joey: Gross!

Shane: And that was a burpanya!

Joey: I don't want to say anya anymore!

Shane made a creepy face at the camera. I made a scared face at the camera.

Shane: And your little outro thing is weird.

Joey: Ok! You know what! May the odds be ever in your favor, goooodbye!

I shut off the camera. Shane literally stuffed his face the second I shut of they camera.

Shane: Really those are weird though. But I love weird things.

Joey: Aww thanks!

We finished eating and Shane was really nice and paid for both of us! He drove us back to his place and invited me to stay.

Shane: We can share a bed or...

He looked at me. I guess he wanted to share a bed.

Joey: Uh, sure!

Shane: Great!

He went into his bathroom and got changed. He also found some clothes for me.

Joey: Thanks!

I got changed. Shane hugged me from behind. I turned around and kissed him. He kissed back. We ended up falling on his bed. When I pulled away Shane pulled the sheets on top of us still while holding on to me.

Shane: Goodnight.

He kissed my cheek.

Joey: Goodnight Shaney!

Within a few minutes we both fell asleep.
