Chapter 21- Threats

Shane's POV

We ate and talked to Lisa. I'm glad we were friends again.

Lisa: Oh! Shane!

Shane: Yeah?

Lisa: We should make a video together!

Shane: Sounds like fun.

Joey: What about me?

Shane: We've made a billion videos together. Lisa and I haven't made one since we broke up.

Joey: Ok. Make your video.

I kissed his cheek and he blushed. He was adorable. I loves the way he smiled and the way he blushed when I gave him a kiss. I loved his hair, teeth, face, and especially his body. I heard a knock at the door that pulled me out of my thoughts. I walked over to the door and opened it.

Tyler: Oh. Hey Shane.

Shane: What the hell do you want.

He pulled me outside and shut the door.

Tyler: I want Joey.

Shane: He's with me.

Tyler: Dump him. Or else.

Shane: Are you threatening me.

Tyler: It doesn't matter. Dump him or...

He pulled something out of his pocket. It was a knife. What the hell was wrong with him? We were friends.

Tyler: You'll never see him again.

Shane: I'm not afraid of you. And I'm not dumping him.

Tyler: I'll give you 3 days to do it. If not, I'll make Joey mine!

Shane: Get the f*ck out of here!

Tyler: Oh. And don't you dare tell Joey or anyone, unless you want me to hurt them.

Oh hell no! He didn't not just threaten Joey.

Shane: Get the f*ck away! And don't you dare threaten my boyfriend!

He left. Good riddance. I came back inside, sat down, and rested my head on the kitchen counter.

Joey: Something wrong Shaney?

I sighed. As much as I hated Tyler, I didn't want to hurt Joey.

Shane: Nothing. I'm fine.

Lisa: Are you sure? Who was at the door?

Shane: I'm just a bit tired ok?

Joey's POV

He wasn't ok. I knew something was wrong. I'm gonna ask him later. Maybe he's uncomfortable around Lisa right now.

Joey: Hey Shane? Wanna go home soon?

Shane: Uh, sure. I'm tired.

Joey: Ok then let's leave now.

He stood up with a frown. I grabbed his hand and kissed his cheek. We walked to the car and I drove us home. Shane didn't talk at all in the car. We got back to our new apartment. He went straight to bed. No goodnight. No hug. No kiss. What was wrong? My phone started ringing.

Joey: Hello?

Luke: Joey?! Are you ok?!

Joey: Uh, yeah. Why?

Luke: Because Tyler is threatening Shane!

Joey: What?! Why?!

I swear if he hurts Shane I will kill him.

Luke: I don't know why. He just drunk texted me. He said that if Shane or I told he would hurt you.

Joey: Then why did you tell me?

Luke: Because he's passed out on my couch. Listen, he said Shane has 3 days to break up with you or he'll hurt him.

Joey: Ugh! I hate him even more! And we can't break up! We're getting a dog soon!

Luke: Well you need to tell Shane and talk to Tyler.

Joey: Ok. Thanks Luke for telling me. You're an awesome best friend! Bye.

Luke: Ok. Bye.

I put my phone on the table and walked into our bedroom. I sat on the bed next to Shane.

Joey: Hey.

Shane: I'm breaking up with you.

Joey: No you're not. I know what Tyler did.

He shot up and looked at me.

Shane: How?!

Joey: Luke called. He told me that Tyler drunk texted him and he's passed on his couch.

Shane: I didn't want you to get hurt. I'm sorry I didn't tell you.

Joey: It's ok. I'll go talk to Tyler and straighten things out.

Shane: Just don't hurt yourself.

Joey: Kay.

He pulled me into the bed with him. He threw the covers over us and kissed my cheek.

Shane: I love you.

Joey: I love you too.

I hugged him and we both fell asleep.

Author's POV

Joey's phone, which was still on the living room table, had just received a text.

New text message from: Tyler

T: Hey Joey! I'm coming for Shane because you know. Good luck. You'll never see him again.
