Chapter 15- Cheating

Joey's POV

I drove us to Luke's house. It was silent the whole ride. But it wasn't awkward. We arrived and I ran over to Shane's door and opened it. He stepped out and I shut his door. I was a bit too excited because I ran straight up to the door.

Shane: Joey! Slow down!

I blushed. Whoops! Way too excited. This was out second date and our first double date. And my best friend was going to be there. Shane knocked on the door and Luke answered.

Luke: Hey guys! What's up? C'mon in!

We stepped in and Luke shut the door.

Joey: We're... Good.

Luke: What happened?

Joey: Well Shane was reading comments on our videos. But somehow he only found bad comments.

Luke: That sucks. Did you remind him that his friends are here for you guys?

Joey: Yep!

Shane's POV

When we walked in and Luke started talking to Joey. Ingrid came up behind me and pulled me into the kitchen.

Ingrid: So, you know what Lisa did?

Shane: Yeah! She'a such a bitch!

Ingrid: I'm sorry!

Shane: What?

Ingrid: See told me she was gonna do it! And I didn't tell anyone!

Shane: What?!

Ingrid: I'm sorry! Are you mad?!

Shane: I-

I sighed.

Shane: No. I can't be. She would've done it anyways.

Ingrid: Thanks.

We hugged.

Joey: Shane?!

Luke: Ingrid?!

Ingrid: Don't tell them!

Shane: Why?

Ingrid: I'll tell Luke but I don't want Joey to get mad at me!

Shane: Ok.

We walked out. Luke and Joey were waiting for us. Joey had his eyebrow raised.

Joey: What was going on in there?

Shane: Nothing.

Ingrid: Yeah, nothing.

Ingrid pulled Luke aside. I assumed she was telling him what she told me.

Joey: What were you two doing?

Shane: Just talking.

Joey: That's it?

Shane: You don't trust me?

Joey: No, I trust you.

Shane: Ok.

Luke and Ingrid walked over. Luke whispered in my ear.

Luke: I know.

What about Joey? I can't tell him! He'll just get mad! Ingrid doesn't deserve that. We got in Luke's car he drove us to the restaurant. Joey stopped me before we walked in.

Joey: What the f*ck is going on?

Shane: What do you mean?

Joey's POV

Joey: I heard what Luke said!

Was Shane cheating on me? Did he lie? We just came out! Was he going to break up with me?

Shane: Nothing! I swear!

Joey: Whatever!

I ran in and he followed. We met up with Luke and Ingrid. We got a table and sat down. Luke and Ingrid were talking but I didn't want to look at Shane. I felt him grab my hand. I pulled away. I felt like I was gonna break down.

Joey: I'm going to the bathroom!

Shane's POV

Luke: I'll follow him.

Luke went after Joey. I bet he was gonna start crying. I felt so bad. I needed to do something.

Shane: You need to tell Joey!

Ingrid: Why?!

Shane: He thinks I'm cheating or something! I just grabbed his hand and he stormed off!

Ingrid: What if he hates me?

Shane: I'll convince him not to.

Ingrid: Ok.

Luke's POV

I saw Joey run off in tears. I followed him into the bathroom. Luckily no one else is in here.

Luke: Joey?

Joey: What the f*ck is going on?!

He was still crying and he was really mad.

Luke: Calm down.

Joey: Is Shane cheating?! Is he breaking up with me?!

Luke: No he's not! Look. Ingrid will explain everything. Ok? C'mon.

He wiped he tears and took a deep breath.

Joey: Ok.

We walked out and sat down at the table.

Shane's POV

Thy came back and sat down. I signaled Ingrid to tell Joey.

Ingrid: Listen Joey, we didn't want to tell you this because you might get angry.

Joey: What?!

Shane: Calm down.

I grabbed his hand and he didn't pull away this time.

Ingrid: Ok. I knew that Lisa was gonna tweet about you guys. She texted me. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me!

Joey: Why didn't you tell us? We could have stopped her!

Shane: Calm down! Joey! She was gonna do it anyways. And look. We're fine.

He took a deep breath.

Joey: Fine. I forgive you.

Ingrid: Thanks.

Joey: And you're not cheating or breaking up with me?

Shane: Never in a billion years.

Joey: Only a billion?

We all laughed. We ordered our food and ate it.

*An hour later*

We were driving to the theater. Joey rested his head on my shoulder.

Joey: As soon as we get home, I'm going straight to bed!

Shane: It's only 7:50.

Joey: I know but we gonna watch a movie. Sitting still. In a dark room. For like an hour and a half.

We arrived to the movies and bought our tickets and some popcorn. We got into the theater and sat down. The lights got dark and I heard someone sit down next to me. A looked over and regretted it.

Lisa: Hey Shane!

Joey whispered into my ear.

Joey: What the hell is she doing here.

I whispered back.

Shane: It doesn't matter. Lets ignore her.

The movie started. We got halfway through it this time before things went bad. Lisa rested her head on my shoulder like Joey did earlier.

Joey's POV

That bitch was doing it again. Why can't she leave us alone? Shane didn't do any thing except roll his eyes and grab my hand. He knew how I felt. I loved that.

Shane's POV

The movie ended and we walked out to Luke's car. Joey got in but someone tapped on my shoulder.

Lisa: Shane!

Shane: What? I'm on a date!

Lisa: With who? That f*ggot?

Joey: What the hell did you called me?!

I decided to end this quickly. I pushed Joey back into the car and got in I shut the door. Lisa was still standing there. I made sure she saw this. I grabbed Joey's shirt and kissed him. He was surprised but he kissed back. I pulled away and flipped off Lisa.

Joey's POV

Shane was trying to make her jealous. He grabbed my shirt and kissed me. And then he flipped her off. I laughed. Luke drive us back to his house.

Joey: Thanks Luke! I'll text ya!

Luke: Bye!

We got in the car and drove back to Shane's house. We walked in and Shane's mom started talking to us. I yawned. I didn't want to talk! I wanted to sleep.

Shane: It went fine. Joey you can go upstairs. I'll join you soon.

He kissed my cheek and I went upstairs.

Shane's POV

Joey went upstairs while I talked to my mom.

Mom: I hope you two aren't doing anything up there.

Shane: Mom!

Mom: Well goodnight.

Shane: Goodnight mom.

I walked upstairs and changed. I walked into my bedroom and Joey was already asleep. He was so cute. I smiled and laid down next to him, wrapping my arms around him.

Shane: Goodnight!

Joey: Goodnight Shaney.

I kissed him one last time before I drifted off to sleep.
