Chapter 19- Birthday Part 4

Shane's POV

I spun again and it landed on...

Lisa!

I can't kiss Lisa! Why was she here? My mom must have invited her.

Everyone: Ooooo!

She pounced on me and started kissing me. People started laughing and continued playing the game. I pushed Lisa off and walked away from the game. I didn't like it. I walked upstairs and into my bathroom.

Lisa: Hey!

Shane: Huh? Oh! It's you...

Lisa: How was that kiss?

She walked over and stood next to me.

Shane: I'm sorry Lisa. I didn't enjoy it. I don't like you.

Lisa: That's ok! We can be friends!

She hugged me tightly. Was she serious? Or was she trying to win me back?

Shane: Ok I guess.

Lisa: Yay! I missed hanging out with you!

Shane: Fine. Promise me you won't do anything.

Lisa: I promise!

Shane: Great!

I smiled. It was nice to have her back as a friend. We walked back downstairs.

Lisa: Oh my god!

Shane: What?

Lisa: Nothing! Let's walk over here!

She pulled me into kitchen.

Lisa: Want some cake?

Shane: Sure.

We sat down and talked while we ate. We finished eating and Lisa told me to stay in the kitchen.

Shane: Why? Is there something you don't want me to see?

Lisa: Yes!

Shane: Well what is it?

Lisa: It's Joey!

I stood up and walked into the living room. She followed me.

Shane: Joey! What the hell?!

He and Tyler were making out on the couch! Why?!

Lisa: Shane...

I ran back upstairs to my room. Lisa was following me still. I ran in and cried on my bed. She came in and shut he door.

Lisa: Shane. I'm sorry. It's probably because he's drunk!

Shane: You're drunk! And we didn't start making out!

Lisa: I'm sorry.

She was being such a good friend. She hugged me and sat down next to me. I don't remember what happened except I fell asleep quickly still hugging Lisa.

*Next Morning*

Joey's POV

I woke up. I had a headache. I was really drunk last night. I looked down and saw Tyler was hugging me and we were on the couch. Now I remember. Oh no! I hope Shane isn't mad! I pushed Tyler off of me and walked around the house. It was messy.

Joey: Shane?

I walked upstairs. I opened the door to Shane's room.

Joey: Shane!

Shane's POV

X: Shane!

I woke up when I heard someone shout my name. Me and Lisa were still hugging like we were last night. I look up and Joey was looking at us.

Lisa: What's going on? Oh sorry Shane!

She released her grip and sat up with me.

Joey: Are you cheating?!

Shane: No! You're the cheater!

Joey: What are you talking about?

Shane: You and Tyler were making out!

Joey: No! We only kissed once for the spin the bottle thing!

Shane: No! You were making out on the couch with Tyler! We saw!

Joey: I don't remember it...

Shane: How could you not remember making out with someone who wasn't me?!

Lisa: Calm down Shane. It's ok.

Joey: What are you doing with that bitch?

Shane: She's my friend and she's been comforting me after we saw you and Tyler!

Lisa: Stop yelling. Don't do anything you'll regret.

Shane: And you did it on my birthday!

Lisa rubbed my back. I'm glad she was here when my boyfriend wasn't.

Joey: I'm sorry. I was drunk and I wasn't thinking. Forgive me?

Joey's POV

I can't even remember what happened! He stared at me angrily for a few minutes.

Lisa: I think you should forgive him.

He sighed and his face softened.

Shane: Fine. I forgive you.

Why was he listening to Lisa? Whatever. It didn't matter.

Joey: I'm really sorry. I don't even remember it happening.

I walked over and hugged him. He hugged me back. I smiled at him and leaned in to kiss him. He kissed back. He pulled away.

Shane: You taste like alcohol.

Joey: Sorry! Hey. I never gave your birthday gift.

Shane: What is it?

We stood up. I reached onto my pocket. I pulled out a small box and opened it.

Shane: Oh my god! Joey! It's beautiful!
