Chapter 102- Homophobes And Fangirls

Joey's POV

We force quickly to the airport. I thanked Tyler as we ran off to go through security and all that shit.

Finally we reach the plane. We get on and take our seats.

Shane: Are you excited?

Joey: Of course! We're going to Paris!

Suddenly someone sits down next to us. I was hoping we'd be alone so I could snuggle with Shane. I pout. He picks up on it.

Shane: Don't pout. Be happy. Have fun. We're on our honeymoon!

I smile. But suddenly the person next to us turns in their seat and faces us. I see it's some middle aged man.

His face shows disgust. I'm fearful. What if something happens? I'm pretty sure he's a homophobe.

Man: Are you two f*ggots?

I gasp. I hate that word. Shane takes my hand.

Shane: Yes. We are gay.

I take deep breaths to calm myself down. Sticking up to rude people is something we have to learn to do.

Or at least I have to.

Man: Disgusting. You people are sick!

He stands up and walks over to one of the attendants complaining about us. Everytime he cusses or uses that word I tense up. Shane squeezes my hand, trying to calm me.

Shane: Calm down honey. You're fine.

I close my eyes and focus on breathing. Suddenly I hear his footsteps coming towards us.

He is muttering harsh words under his breath. He takes his things and moves to a new seat. But now some young girl walks up and sits next to us.

Girl: Oh my god! I know you guys! from YouTube!

Great. A fangirl. I already have a bad headache and I'm still shaken up from that encounter.

Shane's POV

I know Joey won't be able to handle this girl. I stand up and move him to my seat. I sit next to the girl.

Shane: Nice to meet you. What's your name?

Girl: That can wait! Why are you two going to Paris?!

Shane: We just got married-

She squealed and started to freak out a bit in her seat.

Girl: And you're going on your honeymoon! How adorable!

I look over at Joey. He seems miserable although he's hiding it from this girl.

I lean over and kiss his cheek. Then I move up to his ear. I whisper so the girl can't hear.

Shane: Get some sleep. I'll deal with her.

Joey: Remember she's underage.

I laugh at his comment. Then I turn back towards the girl.

Girl: Could you two kiss? If you don't mind.

I smile. I'll kiss my husband anytime from now on. I turn towards Joey who looks amused.

Shane: Come here.

He leans forward. I cup his cheeks bringing our lips together. We don't go crazy. Just our lips touching for a few seconds. No tongue.

I pull back and smile again. Joey gives me his adorable smile back. Then he sits back in his seat. I turn towards the girl.

Girl: That was so cute. I just love you guys so much. I was shocked and happy when you guys announced Shoey was real.

I chuckle but lean over towards her and pretend to whisper although Joey can hear.

Shane: I'm shocked that me and Joey are even together.

Joey: Hey!

The girl cracks up. I laugh along.

Shane: Hey. What's your name?

Girl: Oh! I'm...
