Chapter 16- Birthday Part 1

Shane's POV

I woke up and looked at Joey. Weird. He was still asleep. I rolled over and looked at the clock.

Shane: 6 am?!

Whoops! I shouldn't shout. I'm not tired though. I got out if bed and walked downstairs. My mom was still asleep too. Surprise surprise. I looked at the calendar.

Shane: Oh! Today's my birthday!

I know his birthday was awhile ago. I just wanted to write a chapter about it. :)

I wonder if anyone has anything planned. I mean, all I want is to spend the day with Joey. It was 6 am. No one was up so maybe I should vlog. I got out my phone and hit record.

Shane: Hey. What's up you guys? So today's my birthday. Yay! But it 6 in the morning so I'm vlogging. Everyone is asleep. So I'm alone.

I frowned at the camera. But then I went back to recording.

Shane: So I don't know what we're doing today. So we'll find out later.

I stopped recording and put my phone away. I was hungry. But I'm in the mood for junk food. I checked the kitchen. Nothing.

Shane: Ugh. Really? No junk food mom?

I got in my car and drove to the store.

Joey's POV

I woke up and heard Shane vlogging downstairs. Perfect. I checked my phone.

L: Hey! We have it all planned. Just distract him.

J: How?

L: Don't you have to pack? Have Sawyer film a video with you.

J: Ok. Text ya later!

L: Bye.

Put my phone down and fell back asleep.

Shane's POV

I went to the check out line. I paid for my junk food. It was $30! Woah! I have a problem! I got in my car and drove home.

Shane: Joey?

He was still asleep. I went into the kitchen and dumped out the bag of junk food. I grabbed my phone and hit record.

Shane: Hey guys! So I just bought sooooo much junk food.

I pointed the camera down at it.

Shane: I think I have a problem. But I'll eat it all anyways!

I turned off the camera and ate my 'breakfast'.

*Two hours later*

Joey: Shane?!

Shane: Hey!

Joey: What have you done?!

Shane: I was hungry. So I went to the store.

Joey: And you bought 10 pounds of junk food?

Shane: Maybe...

Joey: Ugh. You're lucky I love you!

Shane: Thanks! So what are we gonna do today?

Joey: Um, pack?

Shane: What?

I was surprised. Did he forget?

Joey: Yeah. We gotta pack. We moving into our new apartment tomorrow.

Shane: Oh.

Joey: Something wrong?

Shane: Nope.

Joey: I'm gonna go take a shower. Be back in a bit.

Joey went upstairs and my mom walked in.

Mom: Good morning.

Shane: Yeah. GOOD morning.

I sat down on the couch.

Joey's POV

I grabbed my phone and clothes then ran into the bathroom.

J: Everything's going good! We're gonna pack later.

L: Ok. Text me when you leave. I'll text you when we're ready.

J: Ok. Bye.

I hopped in the shower. I had a huge grin on my face.

Shane's POV

Mom: What are you and Joey doing today?

Shane: Packing his stuff over at Sawyer's.

Mom: You guys should go out to dinner for your birthday.

Shane: I think he forgot. Or he doesn't know when my birthday is.

Mom: I'll get you a cake tomorrow.

Shane: Thanks mom.

Joey's POV

I pulled out my camera and started to vlog.

Joey: Hello there everyone! So today is Shane's birthday! Yay! Happy Birthday Shane! So today we are gonna pack my stuff at Sawyer's place. And then we have a surprise. So I'll see you guys then.

I stopped recording and Shane walked in. I hope he didn't hear anything.

Shane: Are you done in there?

Joey: Yep!

He went into he bathroom and took his shower. I'm glad he didn't hear anything.

*Awhile later*

We were driving over to Sawyer's place. We got there and walked straight in. Sawyer wasn't there.

Joey: You vlog or something while I get boxes.

Shane: Yeah... Sure...

He looked upset. I wonder if its because its his birthday.

Joey: Something wrong?

I started walking upstairs to my room.

Shane: No. It's nothing.

Joey: Ok!

I started putting clothes into boxes. And Shane joined me.

Shane: Maybe we should go out to dinner.

Joey: Why? We just went on a date last night.

Shane: Yeah. I know.

We packed all my clothes. Shane laid down on my bed.

Joey: C'mon lazy.

I poked his stomach and he sighed. I felt bad that all we were doing was packing.

Joey: Ok. What's wrong? Tell me!

Shane: Do you remember what today is?

Joey: Uh...

I can't give it away. Just cover it up.

Shane's POV

Joey: No.

Did he really forget? I can't just tell him either! This sucks

Shane: That's ok.

Joey: Are you sure your fine?

No.

Shane: Yeah.

Joey: Ok let's pack.

*4 hours later*

Sawyer: Hey! I'm back!

Joey: Hey what's up?

He and Sawyer were having a conversation. I just wanted to go and cry! My boyfriend forgot my birthday! I hate today! Worst birthday ever!
