Chapter 20- Dogs!

Shane's POV

He pulled out a small box.

Shane: Oh my god! Joey! It's beautiful!

Joey: Let me put it on you.

It was a beautiful necklace that said "Shoey" on a heart shaped locket. He put the necklace on my neck.

Joey: Open it.

I did and it was the kiss from Dare the Dawson. This was so sweet.

Shane: I love it Joey! Why was I even mad at you?

I hugged him. I love him!

Joey: Your welcome.

Lisa: You guys are so cute!

Shane: Thanks Lisa! How am I gonna top this for your birthday?

Joey: Oh Shane. You don't have to.

I kissed him and he kissed back. It felt a lot different than our other kisses. Weird. I guess Joey noticed too because he pulled away and gave me a look.

Joey: We should clean up your party.

Shane: Yeah! Let's go.

We all walked downstairs. Lisa had to go and left. Tyler woke up and walked up to us in the kitchen.

Tyler: Hey there Joey! Whatcha doing?

He got really close to Joey.

Joey: Uh, do you remember what happened last night?

Tyler: Yeah! How 'bout we do it again.

Tyler starts to lean in.

Joey: Stop! I'm with Shane!

Tyler: C'mon Joey. I'm better than him. And I didn't make out with my ex girlfriend.

Joey: You need to go home.

Tyler: Alright. Come with me.

He grabbed Joey and ran towards the door.

Joey's POV

Tyler grabbed my hand and ran towards the door. I feel bad for Shane. He must be super jealous.

Joey: Tyler stop. I'm with Shane!

Tyler: C'mon. Stop lying.

Joey: I'm not lying! Just leave!

I pushed him out the door and shut it.

Joey: I'm sorry Shane.

Shane: I love you.

He hugged me. I felt bad still. He has to be jealous or mad.

Joey: Are you mad?

Shane: At Tyler but I'll get over it because it got you!

Joey: You're so sweet!

Shane: So are you! C'mon. Let's clean up.

*A few hours later*

Joey: Finally everything is clean!

Shane: And we have our apartment to move in to today!

Joey: Oh yeah! I totally forgot!

Shane: I have to pack my cameras and clothes still.

Joey: Then go pack boy!

*Hours later*

Shane's mom: Do you two wanna stay for dinner? Or drop your stuff off and come back?

Joey: Yeah I think we'll come back. I wanna make sure the apartment is ready!

Shane's mom: I love that necklace to got for Shane! It's cute!

I blush. I can't help it though.

Joey: Thanks.

Shane's mom: Are you gonna marry Shane someday?

Joey: What?!

Shane: You heard her Joey!

I turned around and saw Shane. He was carrying his last box downstairs.

Joey: Well, I guess I would.

Shane: That's so sweet!

He hugs me from behind and kisses me on my cheek.

Joey: Wanna go now or-

Shane: Let's go now.

Joey: Oh. Ok. Let's go!

We carried the boxes out to my car. We put them in and got in the car. I drove us there. We got out and the realtor gave us our keys.

Shane: I'll start grabbing boxes. You go up to the apartment.

I walk upstairs to our new apartment. I unlock the door and walk in. It was really empty.

Shane: Whatcha looking at?

I jumped. Where did he come from?

Shane: Woah! Someone's jumpy.

I blushed. Shane walked over and kissed my cheek.

Shane: C'mon babe.

Joey: Babe?

Shane: Yeah! You call me Shaney and I call you babe.

Joey: Ok then, Shaney.

I made sure to say the last part in a ridiculous tone.

Shane: We have some work to do.

*Awhile later*

Joey: Are we done?

Shane: Yep. I'm tired.

Joey: We were gonna go back and have dinner with your mom.

Shane: Ugh. Let's call her and-

Joey: No! C'mon. It's your mom.

Shane: I know but I just don't wanna move.

Joey: Get up fatty.

Shane: Did you just all me fat?

Oops. I guess I should be more careful when I'm joking around.

Joey: Sorry. It was a joke.

Shane: Fine! Me and my fat ass will go to dinner with you!

Joey: It was a joke! I'm sorry I said that. You're not fat.

Shane: Yeah. Whatever.

Great now my boyfriend was mad at me! What should I do? I leaned over and kissed him. He pushed me off immediately.

Shane: Really? Really Joey!

Joey: Stop being mad at me! Remember what happened last time?

Shane's POV

I do remember. It was the worst. But why would he even joke around and call me fat? He knows I have issues with my weight.

Shane: I remember.

Joey: Do you forgive me then?

He hugs me. I push him off. I just get so mad sometimes. And this time I got super pissed off.

Shane: No! I don't f*cking forgive you!

He looked up at me super confused.

Shane: You insulted me!

Joey: I said I'm sorry! I-

He broke down in tears. He was sensitive. I calmed my self down and lowered my voice. I took a deep breath and rubbed Joey's back.

Joey's POV

Why did he get so mad? But why do I have to be so sensitive? My feelings get hurt easily.

Shane: I'm sorry.

What? I'm even more confused.

Joey: H-huh?

Shane: I'm sorry I got so angry. I don't know why but sometimes I get really angry for no reason.

He kissed my cheek and gave me a hug. I turned and hugged him back.

Joey: Hey. Can we leave now? I'm super hungry.

Shane: Sure babe.

I smiled. I loved that name. He stood up and grabbed my hand. I stood up with him and we left the apartment.

Joey: You got the keys right?

Shane: Yep! We won't get locked out this time.

I laughed. I'm glad we're both feeling so much better. Shane makes me happy. I don't ever want to lose him.

We got to my mom's house and we were greeted with dogs.

Shane: Hey mom! We're back!

X: Your mom went to the store.

We walked into the kitchen.

Joey: Hey Lisa!

Lisa: Hi Joey!

Shane: Is Corny here?

Lisa: No. She's at home.

Joey: Shaney! We should get a dog!

Shane: Yeah! That would be awesome!

Lisa: Your mom left food out for you guys. So you can dig in.
