Prince!Levi x Poor!Reader- My Queen

"Father, that's not right." Levi spoke confidently to his father.

"It's for the best of our kingdom." His father replied. Levi's father had told Levi he was planning on killing all the poor people in their kingdom.

Little did Levi's father know, Levi snuck out every night to meet with one of the "peasants". Her name was (Y/N), and Levi was madly in love.

"Guards, pull the peasants out of the streets." His father ordered. The guards started pulling random people into the palace. Levi watched as innocents were slaughtered. But he broke when he saw (Y/N) in the hall, sword to her neck.

"No!" He yelled and ran to her. He enveloped her into his arms and hugged her. She sighed and collapsed in his arms.

"You will not touch her!" Levi shouted, glaring at all of the guards. They backed away.

"Father, this girl is very important to me." Levi said, helping the girl up. She clung to Levi with her life, scared that if she let go, she'd be killed. Levi led her to a room in the palace, and guided her to the bed.

"Hey, it's going to be okay, I'm not going to let him hurt you." Levi said, his Raven eyes glancing at the door every couple seconds. Levi was only like this was her. He was cold and unresponsive outside of her, but she saw his inside, his gentleness and softness.

"I know." She spoke quietly, her (E/C) eyes meeting his.

"Good. You'll stay here and we'll train you to be a proper lady. That's the only way my father will allow you to stay." Levi explained. She nodded rapidly, before getting up and hugging him.

"Thank you for saving me." She whispered into his neck. He shivered slightly as the warmth hit his neck.

"No problem, my princess." Levi spoke, untangling himself and walking over to the wardrobe. A couple dresses hang and he chose a (F/C) one with black Ruffles. He handed it to her and she stared at it.

"You want me to wear this?" She asked. Levi nodded.

"Yes, not get dressed and brush your hair, not that it's not beautiful." Levi commanded, before leaving the room quickly. (Y/N) sighed and reluctantly changed. When she walked out, dress on, she turned to see Levi. She spun a bit, being careful to not fall over in her short heels.

"How do I look?" She asked. Levi smirked.

"You look like a princess, now let's go, I want to show you the gardens." Levi said. (Y/N) nodded and followed Levi around the castle and into the yard. A beautiful garden stood, maze and all. She gasped as she admired its beauty.

"Levi, this is beautiful!" She exclaimed, rushing to smell the daisies.

"This seems like a good time to tell you, there is going to be a ball tonight at the castle. Would you be my date?" Levi asked, as he grabbed (Y/N)'s hands and turned her to she was facing him. (Y/N) giggled slightly, nodding her head. All fear was extinguished as she gazed into his eyes (I'm so sappy ^o^).

"I'm glad."

Time skip to the ball

(Y/N) awkwardly stood next to her prince, greeting men and women, though most women just glared at her.

She danced a bit, but soon decided to stand off to the side for a bit. That's when she heard one of the women.

"Who does that girl think she is? She's poor, he'd never love her!" She exclaimed to her friend. (Y/N) didn't know what to do. Should she say something? Should she walk away? Unfortunately she didn't get to decide as Levi took care of it. He lightly tapped the woman's shoulder.

"Hello Ma'm, I heard you were talking about my dearest (Y/N), and I can assure you, she deserves me much more then you could ever." Levi said. The woman looked stunned as Levi walked back over to his princess. He grabbed her hands and dragged her to the ballroom floor. They started dancing and (Y/N) blushed.

"Levi, you really didn't have to do that." She muttered.

"I know, I wanted to." Levi said. That caused (Y/N) blush harder. He took her hands and led her in front of the thrones.

"Attention!" He yelled and silence plagued the room.

"This girl is (Y/N). We've been dating for a couple months now and since our relationship is now public, I wanted to ask (Y/N) a question." Levi announced, turning to her. She tilted her head in confusion.

"(Y/N) will you be my Queen?" He asked, gently kneeling. You giggled.

"God, only I could put up with that cheesiness." She commented, nodding

"Is that a yes?"

"Of course it's a yes!" She said. He stood up and hugged her.

She was his Queen. No one else would touch her as long as he was her King.
