He felt his heart shatter again only 1 minute later as the girl stared at him.

Never coming home

"I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?"

"What?" Levi asked, looking wide eyed at the girl in front of him.

"Who are you?" She asked again.

"You don't know who I am?" Levi asked. The girl nodded, confusion in her eyes.

"Am I supposed to know?"

"Um, n-no. Im going to call for a doctor." He said, and proceeded to press the red button. A nurse rushed in, a smile on her face as she saw the girl.

"You're awake!" She said. (Y/N) nodded.

"Do you know where I am?" She asked. This was when the nurse noticed.

"The doctor thought this might happen. You're at the hospital. You had an accident."

"Oh."

"What's the last thing you remember?" The nurse asked.

"Um, getting ready to go to a New Years Eve party." She said, eyebrows scrunched in concentration. Levi inhaled sharply.

That party was where they met. She remembered up until she met him. That crushed his heart even more.

"Does this man look familiar?" The nurse asked, resting a hand on Levi's shoulder. The girl thought long and hard.

"He looks familiar, but I don't remember who he is." She said finally. Levi felt a tear escape his eye. (Y/N)'s eyes widened.

"Oh no. Did I do something wrong? I'm so sorry. I want to remember you, I really do, but I don't." She said. Levi shook his head.

"You're fine, I promise." He said.

"I'm going to go for a walk and grab her family and some of her friends." Levi said, and rushed out the door. He rushed out the hospital and walked.

"Hey Levi!" A voice behind him said. He turned to see Hanji making her way over.

"Hey Hanji." He whispered.

"How is she?" Hanji asked, eyes filled with concern.

"She's awake. She doesn't remember me." Levi said. Hanji's eyes widened and she pulled the boy into a hug.

"Levi, I'm so sorry." Hanji whispered. Levi let out a choked sob.

"She, she doesn't remember me!" He cried out. Hanji shushed him an patted his back.

"Why don't we call (Y/N)'s family and then we can call her friends. Maybe being around them will help her remember."

-Back at the hospital-

"Mom." (Y/N) said, hugging the woman in front of her.

"Oh my baby." Her mom said, sitting and embracing her daughter. Everyone was embracing her. They were excited and happy. Levi was too, but he was also enraged. Enraged at the world that they took away his girlfriend. Levi stuck his hand in his jacket pocket, when his finger brushed something. He enclosed his hand around it and felt the velvet box. New tears fell down his face.

The ring box. He let go of it and brought his hand out of his jacket.

He was going to do it before the fight. Then it happened and he thought he lost her, though now he was thinking maybe he had.

"Eren, who is he?" (Y/N) asked, pointing to the raven haired male. He had his head down and tears were flowing freely.

"That's Levi. Do you remember anything about him?" Eren asked. The girl shook her head.

"All I know is that when I see him, my heart flutters and my face gets really warm." She said. Eren couldn't help but smile widely. Even though she didn't remember Levi, she still remember the love they had.

"He's your boyfriend."

"Really?!" (Y/N) eyes widened.

"Yeah." Eren said.

"I got really lucky." She said, sighing softly.

"Yeah you did."

Suddenly (Y/N) felt horrible.

Why can't I remember him?

She didn't know, but she knew she wanted to remember him. She closed her eyes and thought long and hard.

"Levi, come here." Eren whispered. Levi looked up and could feel his heart melt at (Y/N)'s face. Her nose was scrunched up and she looked like a cat.

"Yeah." He said, in a hushed voice.

"Kiss her."

"What?"

"Kiss her. Help her remember." Eren said, grey eyes meeting teal.

"Eren, we both know that only happens in movies. A kiss isn't going to help her brain regain its memory of me."

"I know, but it might help. I'm no doctor, but I've seen miracles."

"Fine." He said. Levi sat next to the girl and slowly tipped her chin up. He pressed his lips to hers.

(Y/N) felt something. She knew those lips. Where from? She needed to remember. She needed to know.

New Years. That's where. They kissed at midnight. He had asked her out. They had been dating for almost 2 years now.

"Levi!" The girl cried and wrapped her arms around his neck. Levi couldn't believe it.

"You remember me?" He asked, tears running down his face.

"You're Levi Ackerman. You're my boyfriend of almost 2 years and I love you more than anything in the world." (Y/N) said.

"You remember!" Levi cheered.

"Do you remember anything else?" Erwin asked.

"No. I only remember him. Thus good right?" She asked. Erwin smiled and nodded.

"That's amazing."

"While we're here. I'm going to do this."

He almost lost her once, but never again.

"(Y/N), will you marry me?" He asks, pulling the box out of his jacket pocket.

"Yes! A million times yes!" (Y/N) screamed.

"Good. We'll get through this together." Levi said, squeezing her hand.

"I know we will. We always have, haven't we?" (Y/N) giggled.

"Of course we have."

A/N: I wanted to give a happier ending to the first one so May 26th was my Birthday and I'm going to see Dan and Phil on their book tour! I'm extending the contest date to like June 8! Thank you for all your support!
