(Y/N) couldn't even begin to think about how she was going to do this. Weak-minded, unconfident (Y/N), was about to tell the Corporal that she liked him. And she was beyond nervous. (Y/N) wasn't anything special, at least she didn't think so. She was a scientist. She hated being out on the field, but she loved sitting and studying anatomy. She hated the fear she had while facing the Titans, but she loved the excitement she got when she made a new discovery. She was smart, but she never thought she could get anywhere with Levi.

"Don't be so nervous (Y/N). What's the worse that can happen?" Hanji asked. Cue your mini panic attack.

"He could laugh at me and humiliate me in front of everyone. He could give me insane cleaning duties for months. He could not respond and just walk away." You said, a bit nervous. She laughed.

"And what's the best thing that could happen?"

"He could say yes and we could live on happily ever after." You said, calling yourself. Hanji smiled.

"Levi, though he may not act like it, cares about others feelings. Even if he says no, he knows how shy you can be, so the chances of him humiliating you is very very slim." Hanji said. You took a deep breathe.

"Thanks Hanji."

"So when are you going to tell him?"

"After dinner. Levi normally goes on a walk. I was going to ask him then." You said, blushing. She smiled.

"You'll do great (Y/N)." Hanji grinned. You nodded.

"Now stop slacking and help me study these books."

Throughout the day, you saw Levi countless times. EveryTime you passed, you would give a small smile, averting your eyes. You would hear him give a little 'Tch' and continue walking. You were beyond nervous. What if he did reject you? You'd never be able to look him in the face again. You took deep breaths and calmed yourself.

"It's okay (Y/N). You'll do fine." You muttered to yourself for the 5th time that day as you headed back to the lab.

You tried to take as much time eating that night as possible. You sat silently as Hanji rambled on about all the stuff you to figured out today.

"What did you do today, Dr. (Y/N)?" Petra asked. You smiled shyly.

"I'm not qualified enough to be a doctor, so (Y/N)'s fine." You said. She smiled.
