Dead!Levi x Reader - Til' Death {Modern}

Some people say that teenagers don't know what 'love' is. They say that we're too young, too inexperienced to know how love actually feel.

Levi met this girl, she was absolutely stunning. He loved her and he had the honor of being able to say that she loved him back.

They say that teenagers don't know what 'love' is. And they're probably right. But to Levi, if what he was feeling in his heart was even a fraction of how wonderful love can be that damn love must feel pretty great. Yeah Levi was young, but he had all the time in the world to experience love.

Or so he thought. In an instant he was ripped away from his love. A smart, beautiful, funny girl named (Y/N). All because of a stupid drunk driver.

He was- They were supposed to have more time.

Levi watched as his love ripped herself apart. He watched as depression swallowed her. And he watched as someone new rose up from the ashes and saved her. And it wasn't him.

Levi watched as the girl he loved so much, so god damn much, loved someone else. Levi wanted her to love him back.

"If only you could." He'd whisper. He watched as they walked through the park, laughing and sharing stories.

Then the incident happened.

"Leave me alone!" (Y/N) yelled. Levi watched as she cried, tears streaming down her face as she yelled at the man in front of her.

"(Y/N), I'm sorry."

"Leave me alone!" She yelled again, running out of the flat and..... Into the road.

"(Y/N) watch out!"

Levi watched as the girl he loved slowly died. The driver never even saw her coming. She was supposed to live. If he couldn't, she should. She should get to be alive. She should live!

And then she died. In the hospital. And all time froze. (Y/N) rose from the bed and looked around, not noticing Levi. She stared at the wall. Levi slowly approached the girl and touched her shoulder.

"(Y/N)."

The girl jumped and turned around be shaking her head.

"No, no this can't be. You're not real,"

"(Y/N)."

"I'm going crazy, you can't be here,"

"(Y/N)."

"You died."

"(Y/N)!" Levi shouted. The girl turned to look at him.

"(Y/N) I'm so sorry." He said. The girl looked at her faded body in the hospital bed. She had a tear running down her face. She quickly hugged Levi.

"I'm sorry to."

"What, why?" He asked. The girl was slowly fading away.

"I'm sorry, I love you." She said, before completely fading. Levi watched as the nurses jumped her heart and (Y/N) woke up. The girl sat up as the idiot who got her into this mess entered.

They hugged and kissed

"(Y/N), I thought I lost you." He said. She sighed.

"You didn't, I'm here." She said.

Levi watched as she slipped away again.

"I missed you." Her boyfriend said.

"I missed her." Levi said.

"I love you."

"I love her."

They say that teenagers don't what 'love' is and you know what they are right. Love is hurtful, and greedy and makes you want to die and teenagers don't understand that.

They wait for love to coddle them up in hope and joyfulness but that doesn't happen.

Levi wanted her to be happy, but he couldn't help but feel as though he had just died all over again.

He watched as loved so many people that weren't him.

But he loved her.

He always would.

I hope I succeeded in making you cry. This was actually based off of a short play my sister was in. It's said, but it's so true. And that's what really matters in the long run.
