Neko!Levi x Wolf!Reader - Wild Animals {Modern}

Being a cat wasn't easy for Levi. It wasn't any easier when he lived in the forest alone. That was until he met you.

You were a wolf cub, living in a pack. A human wolf, soon to be separated from the pack. They thought you were weak and left you. Then, you met Levi.

You were walking through the forest, (H/C) tail swishing back and forth. Your ears twitched with every movement.

"Um, hello?" You squeaked when you heard a twig snap.

"Tch, no need to be so jumpy." A voice said. A raven haired Neko appeared from behind one of the trees.

"I'm sorry, I'm just not used to being all by myself."

"Really?"

"I used to be part of a wolf pack, but they left. I don't know where they are." You explained, observing the boy. He had raven colored hair, dull grey eyes, and he was shorter then most boys his age.

"How old are you?" You asked.

"14. You?"

"13." You said.

"Anyway, I don't think your family is coming back, so just come with me." He said.

"What's your name?" You asked.

"Levi, Levi Ackerman. You?"

"(Y/N) (L/N)."

"Pretty, now hurry, before the hunters start to come." Levi had said, grabbing your hand and pulling you away to his den.

"Levi, come on, I just want to go hunting!" You groaned.

"Well so do the men that are out there. I don't want you getting hurt!" Levi exclaimed.

"Levi, I'm a wild animal, you can't keep me from everything!" You growled. Levi was always like this, over protective of you.

"No, you're not leaving." He said, and retired to his room. You scoffed and stared out the window. Everything was fine, until the den started shaking.

"Levi, somethings happening!" You yelled. The den started caving, covering you with dirt.

"(Y/N), where are you?" Levi called, but you had been hit with the astounding amount of dirt, knocking you out. Levi looked towards the light and saw 3 large men (of course they were large to him, even in his human form he was the size of a cat) staring right at him. He spotted you on the floor.

"(Y/N)!" He shouted, grabbing your form and hopping out of the broken den.

He held the girl while he ran, very aware of the men behind him.

"Levi?" You questioned as you peeked open your eyes.

"No time to talk, can you change into wolf form?" He asked. You nodded and hopped out of his arms, turning into a (H/C) wolf. Levi turned into a black cat and ran after the stunning wolf in front of him.

They ran, but soon Levi felt the unmistakeable hand on his tail as he was lifted into the air.

"Got you pretty kitty." The man said, his bad breathe hitting Levi's nose, causing the cat to gag.

"Levi!" You barked. You turned around and ran at the man, biting his leg.

"Run!" You commanded. You and Levi quickly scrambled into the nearest bush, effectively hiding from the men.

Later that night, you and Levi were wandering, trying to find your way to a nice area, before settling in a nice clear area, hidden by bushes and such.

"Levi, I'm scared." You spoke for the first time that night.

"Why?" He asked as he started making beds out of leaves.

"Because men don't realize that we are people. We may be animals as well but we have human souls and I just want to feel safe! For once I don't want to worry about the god damn hunters! I want to live my shitty life safe with you!" You cried. Levi stared at you, before hugging you and shocking you. In the 6 years you had known Levi, he had never hugged you.

"It's going to be okay, because I'm going to keep you safe as best I can. I won't leave you behind, I love you too much to do that. So don't worry, because as long as I'm here, you'll be safe." The sudden outburst from Levi shocked you.

"Um, I love you too." You squeaked. Levi smiled and leaned closer, closing the gape between you. His soft lips hit your chapped ones.

At the end of the day, I guess we're all wild animals.

Basically, this was inspired by the movie Fantastic Mr. Fox. It's bad, I'm sorry for that, but it was the bet thing I could think of. Sometimes I'm like, 'what the hell do I do for this one?' And then shitty one shots happen. I hope that you did somewhat enjoy this! Love ya!
