"Peter Hale is alive?" My frail voice yelled about the small car, Stiles and I currently on our way to retrieve Lydia.

His head whipped around to where I was placed, my phone in hand and Scott and I's text messages lighting up my phone screen.

"What? Alive?" He stammered, attempting to keep both eyes on the road, "as in breathing, walking, blinking, talking–"

"Singing, skipping, prancing; freaking living, Stiles." My eyes bulged out of my head, turning off my incredibly bright phone and shoving it roughly into my back pocket. "Why the heck are we getting Lydia again?"

"Oh–oh yeah." Stiles pursed his lips, gripping the steering wheel a bit tighter, "Jackson's alive."

My mouth hung agape, "does nothing stay dead in this town?"

"Everything except that stupid nemo fish that I was accused of killing in the seventh grade."

"I wasn't the one who accidentally poured Mr. Harris's coke into the fish tank!"

"Oh we both knew it was vodka soda." Stiles remarked, "You could practically smell the alcohol from a mile away."

I shook my head, briefly closing my eyes, "We're getting off topic. Back to the living Kanima."

"Right–okay. So Lydia has this weird connection thing towards him–"

"Connection? He called her dead-wait and dumped her." I scoffed, crossing my arms and letting out a noticeable huff of annoyance.

Stiles sighed, "I know, but he apparently has a soft spot for the strawberry blonde."

I merely nodded, my eyes scanning through Lydia's awfully recognizable neighborhood. A few lone street lamps illuminating the dark scenery, making everything a bit less creepy.

As the jeep began to slow down in front of the strawberry blondes house, I hastily leaped out of the vehicle. On my way to retrieve Lydia.

I wasn't quite sure as to how she would react when I told her Jackson was alive and we may have a chance of saving him. For she had most likely saw him lying motionless on the lacrosse field. And seeing one of your loved ones dead is a horrific thing that never seems to leave your mind.

I mindlessly knocked on the door, still not at all sure as to what I would say. But, it looked like I would have to. For when the door finally opened Lydia was standing there with her phone clutched in between her fingertips, Scott's contact glistening on the screen.

"Scott told me." She stated simply, walking right past me and beginning to stroll towards the jeep.

I simply shrugged, mocking her actions and hauling myself into the extremely crammed backseat. Although it was only me back here, it wasn't exactly all that roomy.

Once Lydia slammed the door shut in which belonged to the passenger side, Stiles took off. A brief silence over coming the three of us while Lydia clutched a key tightly in between her fingertips.
