Natsu and Lucy were getting ready to leave the mountain when Lucy gasped.

It wasn't one of fear, it was just surprise.

"What?" Natsu asked gruffly. All he wanted was to at least once kiss Lucy.

"That!" She perked up and jogged towards the opening of the cave. There was something kinda hidden in the snow.

Lucy whiped the snow off it and it read.

The legend of the Fire Dragon

Natsu's face looked like this: O.O

Lucy smiled big, "Igneel!" She looked at him then grabbed his hand.

"Why aren't you excited? Let's go see if the legend is true?" Lucy said suddenly excited.

Natsu shook his head, "doesn't matter. Igneel isn't a healing dragon."

Before Lucy could explain to him that Igneel is the one he's been searching for his entire life, Natsu pulled her away.

"Your looking cold again, we should hurry to get you back," Natsu muttered for an excuse.

Sure he wanted Igneel. To find the truth, but saving Lucy was his top priority.

"N-Natsu!" Lucy said blushing as he lifted her up into a bridal like position.

He smiled down at her.

"W-Whats up with you?" Lucy asked stuttering with frustration.

Mira's voice echoed in his head.
"Have you kissed yet?" His answer was totally contradictory.

Looking at Lucy now made him suddenly self-conscious.

"Natsu..." Lucy said looking at him. She had no idea what he's thinking.

Where's the others? She thought blankly.

Natsu's P.O.V

She doesn't look very focused.

I know that she can be slow when it comes to love but still.

I'll ask for permission!

A soft smirk land's on my lips, then she gives me this adorable look! Kawaii!

"Hey Luce," I say as I carry her along the bumpy slopes.

Her head bounces slightly,"yeah?" She started laughing about her head bobbing from the bounce in my steps.

I stop completely and try my best to look into her eyes, "can I kiss you?"

Lucy's mood suddenly dropped like a fly. Her smile remained and she acted like she totally couldn't hear that question.

My face went knumb, I have no idea what I look like. Am I sad,
Happy, hurt, what?

She looked away from me and I swear to god that everything went silent.

Does she not like me? Does she hate me?!

This strong stinging feeling stabbed my chest, every heart beat my chest ever had made the stinging stronger and stronger!

Ever wanted to look at someone for a long time but they'd think your weird for staring and so you just wanted to disappear? That's me. Right now.

"Natsu..." I heard Lucy say something. I focused elsewhere.

"If I kiss you, please don't remember it," she said so quietly.

What. What?!

If a boy asks a girl for permission to kiss. Wouldn't most girls want the boy to remember it??

"I don't... follow," I slur and then my eyes meet with her brown ones.

"What if I die? You won't be hung up on my death, right?" She asked with a dead serious look.

Hell yeah I'm going to be fucking hung up if she dies! THAT'S WHY IT WON'T HAPPEN!

"Lucy! That's not something you should worry about! You should think about living your life to the fullest, even if you break a few hearts. You could break Gray's heart as many times as you want. But my heart, belongs to you," Dammit that sounds cheesy!

Her look of innocent shock made my heart beat faster suddenly.

Without even trying, or remembering how it happened. Our faces closer, her cheeks weren't as red as they usually are. I'm sure I'm a fucking tomato.

If I could only touch her. Then she dropped her head on my chest.

"Lucy?" I whisper and the scenery changes to dark forest. The dirt under my feet crunches with every step.

"Natsu! I can't hurt you," she was crying now. Dammit Lucy!

I look down at her, I can tell my face is in pain but I can't change it to anything. It's like when your sitting home alone, are you smiling at your loneliness? No. You have a blank look on your face. Because you don't know how to feel.

Right now, I know I'm in pain.

But Lucy's in more pain.

"Your not going to hurt me!" I shouted. Then move my hand so that I'm only holding her with one hand. The other hand lifts her chin.

"And it's my choise, not yours," I whisper before her face is looking at mine with that look. That look that's just so beautiful!

Then I press my lips to hers.

What's it feel like?

Fireworks. A shark frenzy of excitement. Like all the weight from my shoulders are lifted. Like, there's no more words to describe it except, amazing.

Her soft hand lightly touched my cheek, and the warmth of her hand was nothing compared to the fire from my magic. Nothing compares to her. (Especially not Lisanna) 😛

When Charle asked us where we were, Erza noticed we were the same color of her hair.

I regret nothing.

"Umm we found some legend of the fire dragon, instead," Lucy said.

Gray shook his head, "Hmm, did you investigate?"

Nobodies P.O.V

Lucy shook her head, "we were in a hurry."

Her face was still flushed from the kiss. Gray and Erza stood across from them and Charle was in the room to.

They were in the hotel room.

"Okay well its to dark out now to go again, Lucy your cheeks are red, are you feeling okay?" Erza raised an eye brow at Lucy.

Natsu lightly chuckled and Gray sent them both curious glances.
