Leonid had apparently flown here via Shu airways, but I doubted that fussy aviator god would be willing to help me, and I didn't eat to ask.

Sadie: We'll risk a portal. I know they've been a bit wonky, but it's just one quick jump. What could go wrong?

Carter: You could materialize inside a wall, it wind up scattered through the duat in a million pieces.

Sadie: Why, Carter, you care! But really, we'll be fine. And we haven't got much choice.
