I'd actually been planning this scene for soooo long before. I wanted everything to be just perfect and writing the little...surprize in this chapter which I'm not going to tell you about...took me about an hour itself because I wanted it to be perfect and really ...peachy but awful. ;]

xx VOTE/ COMMENT/ FAN/ ADD TO LIBRARY!!!

P.S. to IcyBlue who, as promised, gets a chapter dedicated to her for being a terrific fan and supporter! Her comments are heart warming and everytime I see them they make me instantly feel happier!

P.P.S. The song I'm using (Better Than Revenge) is more or less in the persona of Paris Noleman who we get to know a tad more in this chapter.

Love Pix.

The limo rolls to a stop and I glance out of the one way, tinted windows of the stretched black limo. A huge, at least 60 story building stands in front of the limo and a huge electric crimson neon sign reads Sky Records . The front doors and security guarded with two men with loaded guns and handcuffs clipped to their belts.

Golden poles with red velvet connecting them blocks off the area from the limo door to the front doors of Sky Records and encloses a crimson red carpet. Fans of screaming girls stand, screeching and crying and holding note pads and pens over the block off lines and Security back them off and force them to move back as the chauffer opens the door to the limo.

I sit in the limo with Jesse, Josh, Meg, Jesse’s Mom and Dad in an awkward silence. I had gotten on pretty well with all of them but Jesse’s dad took a little longer getting used to. I suppose I just find it difficult to talk to an older male as I hadn’t had that much practise because of my dad and his lack of being a civilized and appropriate parent.

Jesse’s parents, Meg and Josh all slide up first and I stand up in the limo in front of Jesse. He quickly pulls me back down on the limo seat and takes my hands in his.

‘Don’t be nervous. I promise you everyone will be nice.’ He says.

I nod slowly. I am not going to lie, I am freaking out, questions flooding through my mind. What if they don’t like me? Again, what if I look like a complete gold digger? What if people think I’m a stuck up slut? Oh God...

‘Beth? Bethany? Please, trust me on this one. I do this practically four times a week. Trust me, all the fame and examination is awful at first but you’ll get used to it.’ He says.

I sigh deeply, trying to calm the nerves.

‘Bethie, if you can go on an 85 meter drop at 100 miles per hour, you can go to a famous people party and I know you’re not a Ta-da person but you’ve got to trust me. I really appreciate you coming,’ he says, his eyes fixed on mine.

I quickly leans down and kisses me slowly but I don’t respond in any other way but looking down at my sweating palms in my lap. I pull away. I nod my head and I step out of the limo, followed by Jesse.

People cheer, even though they don’t know who I am, people lean over and try to grab my hands and arms. I start to sweat more, feeling the pressure as Jesse takes my hand and gives it a quick squeeze. The flash of cameras are blinding and the screaming of fans is deafening. People cheer after Jesse and take photos. I try not the wince against the constant flashing.

I breathe deeply, plastering an utterly false smile on my face and waving cautiously at the people. The hot air makes me feel nauseous and uncomfortable as walk down the red carpet after Jesse, trying not to trip over. I figure walking in the center of the carpet decreases the risk of people grabbing my arms and pulling and pushing me.
