February 5
Wow. Today was not Madeline's day. She is very upset.
Let me explain: During break today, Brienna informed me that she couldn't find Mady. I figured Mady was fine. But in 3rd block, we had no clue where Madeline was. No one seemed to know where she went. We have math for 3rd block and we just continued our math practice test and went over it with our teacher. Then we went to 4th block chemistry. Still no sign of Madeline. She didn't show up the whole class period. We did a lab today and I worked with Donna and some real people, too. (Of course, to me, Donna is real, too, but you know what I mean.)
Then Marina came to me while I was in the library working on my English paper and told me she had found her. I guess Madeline had just come back. I had no clue what had happened, and I wondered if Joseph had gotten ahold of her. He had. I couldn't talk to Madeline yet because I had an appointment with a new counselor during lunch. Then in history, Madeline was sitting at a desk away from our friends and at first I thought she was going to be okay because she volunteered to participate in some class game, even though Brienna didn't think she should have to. But then she told Brienna, "You're right, I can't do this," and sat back down squeezing her eyes shut like she was going to cry. Madeline laid her head down and seemingly didn't look up for the rest of class. Bri had to tell her it was time to go to 7th.
I'm not happy. Tomorrow we have to get up early and go take the stupid ACT, and we have to be there for four hours with nothing to do during the 20-minute breaks. I can't wait until it's over. Brienna has to take it, too. I think the other Dazzling Divas and Lexi are going to take it, too. We just found this out tonight. Brienna and I already knew we'd have to take it, but we hadn't thought about it much and it snuck up on us. We had no clue about getting up early and staying there for four hours and not being allowed to bring anything to do.
Also, about Madeline, I haven't really gotten a chance to talk to her about Joseph yet, but Lia asked me about him. I think she wants him to rape me. Hasn't that chick learned anything? She's got a black eye now, for crying out loud!
