My Invisible Friends (Imaginary But Real) 3

Jacqueline had to leave this morning because I had too many things I had to do. She was supposed to stay another night but she just couldn't. I don't think she had a bad time, though. I just wish my mom hadn't been drinking. She drank today while driving MY car and I was not happy when she got home. I can just TELL when she has been drinking, even a little. She doesn't have to say anything, or do anything. I just know by looking at her and how she moves.

Brienna and I had to get ready for the senior dinner and awards night at the school, and we had our dresses on, our hair fixed, and our makeup done. My nails were all painted, too. We left with my friend Emma and her parents. When we got to the school, Madeline, Anabelle, Marina, and Lexi met us there.

There was a small buffet with lots of good food, and we ate in the cafeteria. I couldn't sit with my imaginary friends because there wasn't room at the table, but I sat with Madeline in the sanctuary when it was time for awards. My other friends had been sitting to the left of me, but a lady sat there with her little boy. Of course, Anabelle was all mad because invisible people don't like to have their seats taken.

But I asked the lady next to me if she could take my picture if they called my name to go get an award. I didn't get one the whole time-until the last award was given. My Bible teacher (who had gone on the cruise with us, by the way) mentioned a boy who had apparently faced many challenges and still loved the Lord. His name was Dustan Gammon. He passed away 8 years ago.

I was presented with the Dustan Gammon award, and I was given a standing ovation as well. Madeline and a lot of other people were very happy for me. I would write more, but I need to go to bed. After I blow my nose, of course. I'm sick as a wet dog.
