Lynn is very upset. She cried this morning because she knew Ms. Maddie didn't want her to dance in the trio and that she was going to replace her with the new girl, Schuyler. Schuyler is Korean, and this is a Korean dance, so that is probably why Ms. Madison thought Schuyler was better for the dance. But still, Ms. Maddie shouldn't have let Lynn get excited to be in the dance competition if she wasn't even going to be in it.

But I got an idea. Lynn could surprise everyone with her own solo at the end of the competition. It wouldn't count for the competition, but it would be good enough to show Ms. Madison that Lynn should have been in the competition, if not the trio. Ms. Madison probably isn't going to put her in the dance competition at all.

Gwendolyn has been pretending she is two years old. I used to do that when I was 7, and I was told to act my age, but I won't tell Gwendolyn that. If she wants to be two, let her. I think it's adorable and it will be fun to baby her. She is terrified to go past her house because she's afraid her father will see her. I promised her that we'd all be walking in front of, beside, and behind her so her dad wouldn't see her. She wouldn't let go of my hand, either. She told me, "Don't let go of me." And I didn't.

Bri and I are also going to have to help Lynn with her solo. She wants to do it so bad. It's not fair that she is not in any competition dances.
