Today my mom went to the hospital for a few hours to see Grandpa. My siblings and I are going tomorrow after school.
We kept going in and out of the house, and Ms. Dolly left for her haircut. Marina, Madeline, Anabelle, and I were deciding who we wanted to come on the senior trip with us in May, and Mady kept telling me we should invite the "new girl" and I didn't know who she was talking about. Then we saw a tall girl with pink hair in a messy, high bun. She was walking through the neighbors' field and then came to say hi and meet us. Her name is Olivia, she's 19, and I think she got kicked out of college. She said she dropped out but I heard her on the phone with Stella, her cousin (Riley's friend) and she said something about it being bad enough that she got kicked out of college.
Also, Olivia's grandpa passed away a couple years ago because of a disease that was eating up his organs, and she understands how I feel. She asked me about my grandpa.
But Madeline told me that Olivia had just been mean to Marybeth and Lynn earlier, so I don't know what to think of her yet. Olivia did come in and stay with us, though.
