This morning, Ms. Dolly wanted me to go swimming with her again, but I didn't feel like swimming. So we went to sit on the deck and read. It was a beautiful, sunny day, perfect for sitting outside. I wanted her to come along because she had told me the night before that she was upset that I wasn't hanging I with her as much as I used to. I didn't want to leave her in the room by herself and hurt her feelings.
As we were sitting up there, loud music was blasting down below and it was hard to read with so much going on and the beautiful deep blue ocean with the white waves to look at.
When I started to sweat, I got up from the chair and began to go downstairs to find a place inside and read. Ms. Dolly followed me down the stairs but I lost her as I caught up with Mady and we found an area to sit and read our books in this room where I sat on a big green chair and she sat on the windowsill where the window looked out over the ocean.
Life and Brienna found us and told us it was time for lunch. Life and I caught up to Mrs. Meredith and the three of us went to eat on the outside deck together. We had a view of the ocean from our table. What a lovely lunch we had!
The three of us tried to get ready to go swimming, but the dang pool was crowded with drunks acting like wild animals! Ugh. I was so annoyed. Mrs. Meredith and I stayed in the room and I showed her videos and pictures I'd taken so far and then she tried to take a nap and she hit her head on the bed. (My bed was right above hers and she tried to sit up and I cracked up because she'd clocked her head on it.)
We tried to go to the pool again and it was still crowded as h*ll. I stayed in the room with Monica, Bree, and Life, and then the girls who were staying in the room with me came in and we began to get ready for dinner. Bree shouted at someone (I think Monica), "Let me do my makeup!"
I had started a romantic novel of two people who are supposed to go on a cruise, and I was using our cruise as inspiration. I was trying not to make it sound too much like the Titanic, but there really should be a book based on the movie that has all the facts straight from the movie.
We went to Jubilee and had supper and before dessert they did a little dance show like they did on Friday. Then a whole bunch of us went to the pool and hot tub. Me, a couple people from my class, Madeline, and Life were in the hot tub together and then a bunch of the other kids got in. Madeline and I cracked up (and so did some other kids) when one boy said the first time he'd gotten in the hot tub, it had felt like he was in the crack of Satan's a**hole.
Then a bunch of the kids were playing a game where they each went around the hot tub saying "penis" and getting louder and louder every time. Some of us didn't do it, but it was funny watching them do it. They were screaming it for the whole ship to hear. It was s good thing the adults weren't in there with us, because they would've been so mad. It would've been even funnier if the teachers joined in. "PENIS!!!!"
(I couldn't stop laughing while writing this in my diary.)
Madeline and I could see Brennan and Ms. Dolly making out on the top deck from the hot tub. Dolly was sitting on the edge of the rail with her legs around him and they were canoodling like there was no tomorrow. Brennan kept acting like he was going to tip Dolly over the edge and she was frightened and hitting him. Destiny went up there and saw it. We all knew Brennan wasn't actually going to throw her over the edge though. He loves her too much.
