Cavern Club

I almost fell on the bed as I pulled back from her. Did she caught me trying to kiss her? I still have my eyes closed waiting for her to hit me. I was so close to her face I knew theres no denying what my plans was. But after a few seconds that nothing happened, I slowly opened my eyes.

Shes still fucking sleeping! But she gave me the scare of my life! Why did she called my name? Maybe shes just playing with me so I slowly poke her arm. She didnt budge. Definitely sleeping!

I couldnt help it. I laughed out loud! My adrenaline was still high, I needed to let it out. Maine started to stir next to me. And I couldnt stop from laughing.

"Alden, ano ba?! Natutulog yung tao oh? Respeto naman!"

"Im so... Sorry! Sige saglit lalabas na ko." And I stood up and left the room. I saw Maine looked at me curiously.

"Anong pinagtatawanan mo?" She asked.

"Nothing!"

"Alden..."

"Wala! Ummm... Yung mga comment sa video natin. Matulog ka na. Balik din ako kaagad, promise."

"Bilisan mo!"

John Lennon Airport looks more like a gallery of tributes to the late rock and roll singer. There are statue of him, pictures and famous words spoken by the music icon. I am not a Beatles fan but I can appreciate what they did here.

Maine is jumping up and down, shreiking at every pictures she sees. If shes not screaming, "Alden, look!" Shes muttering "Omg! Omg! Omg!" And I am chasing her with our luggage. Giving the usual apologetic smiles to people around us. They seem to have been used to this kind of passengers, they just smile back at me.

"Wait! Pictures! Bago ko makalimutan, picturean mo ko dito. Saka dun! Saka dun pa!"

"Sure. Relax. Dito na lang sa phone ko."

We have been doing this for almost an hour, she posing for me and me shooting pictures of her patiently.

"Meng, papaalala ko lang sayo ha? Airport pa lang to. We still need to go to the hotel. Ayaw mo ba magpunta sa Cavern Club?"

"Alden!!! Ang saya-saya ko lang!!" And we embraced my neck, almost knocking me down. "Youre the best!" And she gave me kiss on my cheek, well she intended to give me a kiss on the cheek.

At the right moment when her kiss was suppose to land on my cheek, I turn my head and her lips touched mine! Hindi ko sinasadya! I was looking for the bus that just arrived and besides I didnt know she was gonna kiss me!

We spoke at the same time!

"Maine! Why did you that for?"

"Alden! Ano ba?!"

"Eh hindi ko naman alam na hahalikan mo ko eh!" Totoo! I didnt know!

"Dinaya mo ko!" She hit me and hit me and didnt stop hitting my arm!

"Hindi ko sinasadya! Aray! Meng! Meng naman! Liverpool! Go back to your happy place! Aray! Perspective! Sorry na! Aray aray!"

When she stopped hitting me, she crossed her arms on her chest. I hate it when she does that!

"Saka Meng! Hindi naman tumama diba! Wala naman akong naramdaman eh. Ikaw ba? Feeling mo ba tumama?"

"I dont know."

"Ako kasi feeling ko hindi eh."

"Sure ka?"

"Oo nga!" I lied. Of course tumama. Ang sarap nga eh.
