"YOU ASKED HIM OUT?" Kennedy asked at lunch, excitedly.

"Yes I already told you that." I said. I texted Kennedy and Nella about it over the weekend, but they were still processing it.

"I KNOW IM JUST SO EXCITED UGGHH OTP!" Exclaimed Kennedy.

I laughed. "Kenzy chill!"

"Were you even planning on asking him out Friday though? Since when did you decide to listen to us?" Nella asked.

"I don't know. I was gonna ask him out like next week if he didn't first, but hanging out with him at the mall just made me realize how much I like him and I just had to ask him then." I replied. I honestly wasn't expecting myself to ask him then, but I just had a burst of confidence and I felt like I had to ask him then.

"Do you know what you're doing for your date?" Trina asked.

"Not really. We said we'd talk about it this week and make official plans. Me asking him out was kinda just throwing out the idea that we should eventually do something as a date."

"Ooh." Kennedy said.

"So, enough of me. I've noticed you guys are still keeping in touch with Luke's friends?" I said.

"Yeah, Mikey and I have been texting a lot. We don't see each other that often in school though. We might hang out soon." Kenn said.

"Nice. What about you Nella? You and Ashton seemed to get along really well at my house." I asked.

"We've been talking a little since then. He's really nice and funny. I just don't know what's up with his girlfriend Bianca. They just don't seem right for each other at all." Nella said.

"Well you should get his number, maybe you two can become good friends and then he'll realize he needs someone like you instead of Bianca." Kennedy told Nella.

"Calum and I have a bunch of classes together, so we've been sitting near each other more often now. He's so funny, oh my god. It's fun talking to him. Lynnie, you should talk to him. I bet you two would get along great." Trina spoke.

"I already know Calum. We talk." Lynnie states. "Sometimes. He's cute." She finished and smiled.

"Oh, really? Cool." Replied Trina.

Luke and I met in the library during study hall again to work on Chem. He was improving already. We didn't only talk about science though.

"So," I dragged out, "where should we go for our date?"

"I don't know. You're the one that lives around here. What's a good place to go?" Luke asked.

I shrugged. "There's not that much to do in this town."

"Okay, how about we keep it classy. Dinner and a movie? Not too fancy, but something a little nicer than SubWay this time?" Luke said.

"Sounds perfect."

"Want me to pick you up? You did the asking so I can do the driving."

"Sure!"

"Okay." Replied Luke, looking like an extremely excited little boy, despite being over six feet tall with extremely broad shoulders.
