trina's pov

Yesterday our main friend group, which now was my original friend group plus Luke, Michael, Calum, and Ashton, hung out at Nella's house and walked around town, but tonight, Calum and I were actually going to do something without them. Nothing against the others, it's just that him and I had become really close in the past few months and figured we might as well hang out together outside of our usual girlsos/5sos group. Plus, Liana and Luke were dating, Nella and Ashton are best friends, and Kenzy and Mikey are "something". So Calum and I figured that if all the others are pairing up, we might as well too. We don't like each other like Liana and Luke or Kenzy and Michael (or maybe Nella and Ashton?) do though. But we can still "pair up" in a platonic way. Plus, he's kind of dating my friend Lynnie. I can't tell if he likes her as much as she likes him though. Which is unfortunate for him, because she's adorable. Well, anyways, tonight Calum invited me to go hangout with his soccer friends. He's really the only one in his band that has any close guy friends in America outside of the band. The other boys mostly just hang out with each other and me and my girl friends.

"So, where are we going?" I asked Calum as he drove us who knows where. He was following the GPS on his phone though, so he probably didn't even know. He isn't even from this town, let alone country. I really hoped he didn't get us lost.

"Not totally sure. They just sent this address in the soccer group message. It might be Theo's place." Calum replied.

"Aren't you good friends with Theo though? You've never been to his house?" I questioned. Theo is one of the guys on the team I thought Calum was the closest with. Also, he's pretty cute. Actually, he's gorgeous.

"Yeah, well we talk a lot in school, at practice, and over text, but I've never been to his house, so I don't know where he lives."

"Oh." I shrugged.

"So is this a party or like a casual hangout like we have?"

"Somewhere in between I'm guessing. I mean I don't expect these guys to get too rowdy, but the group message has fifteen people in it and Theo told all of us we could bring a friend." He said.

"Well you know how that goes. People will tell their friends who tell their friends and so on." I stated.

"I don't know. I think Theo's got it under control."

We eventually arrived at the destination, which was a house, and I'm assuming it was Theo's since he's the one that invited us.

I walked in and Calum and his teammates immediately greeted each other with the typical bro hugs. Then Cal said, "Everyone, this is Trina. Trina, this is everyone."

"Oh I know Katrina" said Oliver Pine as he nodded with a smirk and patted my back. "Shut up Oli." I said, narrowing my eyes at him. Oli is a guy that I've known since first grade and he likes to jokingly taunt me.

Next, Theo came up and said "Hi Trina. I'm Theo. Nice to meet you." as he shook my hand. Little does he know that I already knew who he was from "admiring from afar", as some might call it.

"Hi Theo. It's nice to meet you too." I said with a smile.

"Also, this is my house by the way." He said.

"Nice. Calum had no idea where we were actually going for this thing so it's nice that someone tells me where we are." I said, making sure that Calum could hear me. Theo laughed and Calum said "Hey!" But let out a small giggle afterwards.

Throughout the night I eventually got introduced to more of the people individually, such as Robbie, his girlfriend Becca, and two other guys Carter and Levi.

Calum was right. It wasn't an out of control high school party, but it also wasn't a super low key hangout. There was about 20 to 30 people, but everyone kind of did their own thing. Some people hung outside, some inside, some in the basement, some on the first floor. However, it was definitely super chill compared to the wild parties I used to go to, before Kenzy, Liana, and Nella "tamed" me. That's a story for another day though.

At one point, it was Calum, Theo, Oliver, and I sitting in the living room together talking while the other groups of people were elsewhere.

"So, Cal, how's it going with Lynnie?" Oli asked.

Calum shrugged. "We've only been on one date and we just casually talk so there's kinda not much to tell."

"And if he talks bad about her or hurts her he'll be dead in less than a week so..." I threatened.

"It'll all be fine. I promise. She's a great girl so obviously I won't." Calum reassured me.

"Good." I said.

"So what about you Trina?" Theo asked while flashing his adorable smile.

I pointed to myself surprised. "Me? What about me?" I asked.

"I don't know." He shrugged nervously. "Like obviously you and Calum are just friends because Lynnie, but are you dating anyone?" He asked. Wow, way to be straight up. But, wait, was Theo actually somewhat hitting on me? Wow, this must be a dream.

"Um, actually, no I'm not."

"Nice." He said with a nod.

"Dude." Calum said with a disappointed look on his face.

"What?" Theo asked defensively. "We were talking about dating and relationships so I figured I'd continue the conversation by asking Trina something relating to the topic!"

"Suuure." Oli said sarcastically.

Theo and I continued talking a lot more though throughout the night and ended up exchanging snapchats. Maybe something would come out of this.
