Hanaa's POV
"Lookin' like a queen, walkin' through the palace, fallin' on my knees, baby losin' balance, what do I have to do, what do I have to do!"
All the girls around me screamed. I just sat there, soaking up the music. When the concert was over, I headed toward the gate to leave. Before I reached it, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I spun around and saw Riker.
"Hanaa..." he began
"NO, Riker. I don't trust you anymore."
"Just listen to me, please," he begged. "I made a mistake. A HORRIBLE mistake. I still lo-"
"How do I know, Riker? You hurt me, and I'm not sure i can trust you."
"But-" he interjected.
"No." I firmly state.
Rydel's POV
I see Hanaa and Riker over by the gate. I haven't seen Hanaa forever! It looks like she and Riker are arguing though. I can't STAND to see Hanaa mad or Riker sad. It just kills me.
I ran over to Hanaa and gave her a hug.
"Hanaa!! I missed you so much!!" I shout.
Hanaa hugs me and says, "Sorry I can't stay and chat Rydel, but i gotta go."
"Text me!" I call after her.
Riker slumps down in a nearby chair and I sit next to him, my hand on his shoulder. We sit in silence for a moment until I prod Riker and say, "C'mon. Let's go back to the bus."
Riker nods miserably and follows me back to the tour bus.
Riker's POV
I still loved her, and I know I made a mistake. Why won't she listen to me?
When I got to the bus, Ross hopped out.
"Hey Riker!" he says, then stops noticing I'm sad.
"What's up with him?" he whispers to Rydel.
"Hanaa," she answers.
Ross gives a sympathetic nod and leaves me alone.
I HAVE to find Hanaa again. We've still got a week in Littleton, my hometown. I have to get Hanaa to listen to me, so she knows I still love her. I haven't been happy with any girl since Hanaa.
Hanaa's POV
"I don't trust him," I say to my best friend Livvie.
"But he LOVES you!" she protests.
"He broke my heart Livvie. I can't love him again."
"How did he break your heart again? Refresh my memory," she says.
*FLASHBACK*
I was dating Riker, and I was happier than ever. At one of R5's concerts, he was going to introduce me as his girlfriend. When I came on stage he started.
"Hey guys, I've got something to tell you! This is Hanaa... ummm... Our new tech girl!!"
I felt a sharp stab of hate. I kept a fake smile plastered on my face even as Riker said, "Everyone give it up for Hanaa!!"
When we got backstage I went up to him
"Hanaa listen..." he started.
"NO Riker! I loved you, I thought we had something special, but TECH GIRL!!!??? What, are you embarassed of me??"
"Hanaa..."
"NO!" I screamed. Tears were streaming down my face. I ripped off the necklace Riker had made for me and threw it at his feet. I ran off,
sobbing.
*FLASHBACK OVER*
Livvie nodded grimly. "I see why you don't trust him," she said sympathetically.
"Don't feel bad for me!!" I scream.
Livvie moved to me and put her arm around my shoulder. I was sobbing. She rubbed my back.
"Shhh, it's okay, don't cry," she said in a soothing voice. That just made me cry harder.
"I'll leave you alone," she whispered, tiptoeing out of the room.
Livvie's POV
Wow, Hanaa is really shook up over this. She needs to stop hating Riker. He's nice, and sweet, and caring. Heck, I would date him, but that would make Hanaa extremely upset.
Soon, Hanaa shuffled out of her room, eyes red from crying.
"You still love him," I said.
"Is it really that obvious?" she asked.
I nodded.
She sniffled and tried to laugh.
"I just don't know if I can trust him," she contemplated.
I patted her back. "Follow your heart." I said softly, then got up and left her house.
