Hanaa's POV
I woke up early the next morning, throwing on a long sleeved striped shirt and skinny jeans rolled up to make capris. I popped on my pink converse and left the house so I could pick up Riker to go to the cake place.
We were there for hours, sampling virtually every type of cake in existence. After being there for about two hours we were both stuffed and still hadn't found the right cake.
We started to drive home.
"Hey Hanaa, can you drop me at the beach please?" Riker asked.
I shrugged. "Sure," I said.
I dropped Riker off at the beach, then drove the rest of the way home.
I stepped in through the front door only to find Ryland sitting on the couch.
"Hey Ry," I said. "What's up?"
"I need you to help me put stamps on Kristie's invites so they can be sent out today. She called earlier and said she wanted to talk. I told her to come over on Friday at 7, that's when the party is," he explained.
"Of course!" I exclaimed.
For the next half hour, Ryland and I sat at the kitchen table putting stamps on the already sealed envolopes.
Finally, we dumped them all in the mail. Suddenly, I heard my phone start to go off.
"Hello?" I said.
"Hey Hanaa, it's Kristinne."
"Hi Kristinne, what's up?"
"Well..." Kristinne stopped. "I'm calling from the ER. I've got Riker here with me."
My stomach dropped and I flew to the car.
