A Different Kind of Devotion (R5 Fanfiction)

Hanaa's POV

I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I guess I had fallen asleep last night with Riker while naming constellations. I moved from his lap, trying not to wake him. I kissed his cheek and said, "Wake up sleepyhead," his favorite way to be woken up.

Riker's eyes fluttered open. "Hey babe," he yawned.

"Let's go back to the cabana," I grunted, helping Riker up from the ground.

We got back there only to find Ross, Rocky, Ryland, and Ellington out cold on the floor still decked out in waiter's uniforms. I gently kicked Rocky while Riker woke up Ryland and Ellington. We all smiled mischeviously and crept up to Ross

"One, two, three," I mouthed. On "three" we all yelled as loud as we possibly could. Ross jolted awake, then whined, "Aw come on!"

"And where have YOU been all night?" Ellington asked, raising one eyebrow.

"We fell asleep behind the rock," Riker sheepishly admitted.

"Ohh 'the rock'" Rocky smirked.

"Yes 'the rock'" I shot back, rolling my eyes.

I playfully punched Rocky in the gut, and he doubled over in mock pain. I turned to Riker, but then Rocky started tickling me. I laughed and collapsed on the ground, where Ross, Ryland, and Ellington also started tickling me. Riker burst out laughing, and started tickling me, too. He soon stopped because of lack of breath.

"Guys! Stop! STOP!" I shrieked. "Riker, HELP!"

At this he stopped laughing so hard and pulled Ross away from me. "Hey!" Ross shouted, tackling Riker. He "oomf"ed on top of me. I looked into his eyes. Suddenly, the boys stopped tickling and all was silent. My necklace was flopped over my shoulder, and Riker gently put it back on my chest. He smiled and kissed me. It was still deathly silent. You could've heard a pin drop.

Riker rolled over, and I saw the reason for the silence. Rydel and and Livvie had walked in while the boys were tickling me. Riker helped me up of the ground. I brushed off.

"Heyy Livvie..." I said.

Her mouth dropped open and she finally said, "Where have you been?!" I've been trying to call you all night!!"

"I... was on a date with Riker," I said, grabbing his hand. Livvie squealed.

"OMG! You guys are back together!"

"Yep," I laughed.

"I guess that means..." Livvie turned to Rocky. I furrowed my brow and looked at Riker. He shrugged.

Livvie grabbed Rocky's hands and he kissed her nose.

"We can be boyfriend and girlfriend?" Rocky said.

"Yep," Livvie answered. "We didn't want to date because we didn't want to make you or Riker upset," she explained to me.

I smiled at her. "Thank you. And you're right. It would have upset me. Knowing you, you would feel sorry because I was alone, invite me with you and Rocky, then Riker would be there, and I wouldn't have fun."

"Heyyyy!" Riker whined.

"That was when I didn't trust. you. Well, I don't COMPLETELY trust you, but I love you now..."

"You don't trust me?" Riker looked hurt.

"You hurt me badly. I didn't date after that. I knew I still loved you, but I refused to believe it. To earn my full trust back, you need to make it up to me."

"How?" Riker asked.

"Spend more time with me?"

"Gladly."
